1. Find an elastic silicone lid that is a little smaller than the cup or bottle.
2. Cover the bowl and hold it on one side, then stretch another side to fit the container.
3. Adjust the lid.
4. Make sure it is sealed.

3. Longzon silicone lids can withstand a temperature range from -58 to 450F. They work around safety in the dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator.

These lids are just right for covering open tins and jars when the contents are not all used at once. In addition, I set up mini batches of sauerkraut to ferment, making up just one standard jar size at a time and use the lids on those as well. I live alone so making small quantities lets me eat what I make while it is still fresh and also lets me experiment with new combinations. It is so easy to "burp" the jars as needed by lifting the lid tabs. The pink lid here is on a batch of red cabbage sauerkraut. The blue lid covers an experimental batch of sauerkraut using red cabbage, mooli, red pepper, onion and root ginger using brine from the blue lid batch as a starter. It turned out fabulous!

The quality of these lids is good but I made a mistake ordering them because it states in the description that they stretch to 4” which is the size I wanted. They fit well over a standard tin which is 3” but there’s no way they will fit over something 4” wide.

Fits standard tins no problem. Just fits over tuna tins but that's probably the limit.Creates a good air tight seal which turns your tin into a drum.

These are brilliant up to 9cm diameter - so good for standard tins, drink cans, pint glasses etc. as well as smaller rims. They don’t leak, they wash well and don’t hold smells. But they will only stretch to 9.5cm (3 and 3/4”) and then only if placed very accurately with vertical-sided shapes. I would give 5* for product, but not for seller’s description.

Habe die Silikondeckel für Katzenfutter Dosen bestellt. Passen perfekt auf die 70g Dosen von den genannten Marken. So kann ich die geöffnete Dose im Kühlschrank aufbewahren, ohne jedesmal Alu- oder Frischhaltefolie benutzen zu müssen.

Pratiques et efficaces !
Cela faisait un moment que je souhaitais acheter ce type de couvercles afin de ne plus utiliser de film alimentaire ou de papier alu pour couvrir mes pots ou boites de différents diamètres mais j'avais un doute sur leur qualité, facilité d'utilisation et d'entretien. J'ai donc profité d'une promo à 9.99€ et après plusieurs utilisations, je suis satisfaite par ces derniers car ils sont solides, faciles à mettre en place et à adapter aux pots ou boites à recouvrir, pas de difficulté non plus à les retirer via la languette prévue pour ça.Autre très bon point, ils sont réellement étanches tant sur un pot de crème 6.7cm de diamètre, une boite à chat de 7.5 cm ou un grand mug de 8.5 cm. Enfin coté lavage, c'est tout aussi aisé et rapide à la main.Ils n'ont pas bougé après un passage au frigo à 3°, ni sous l'eau chaude de la bouilloire à 75° donc impeccable alors je vous les recommande si vous aussi vous cherchez à limiter les déchets de papier alu et ou de film alimentaire;-)
