    This is a relatively heavy, well balanced, capacious wok. I bought a wok stand so I could use it on my gas hob but primarily it is for use with my Solo Ranger Fire Pit. I followed the instructions for seasoning which was actually very simple as I did it outdoors so smoke was not an issue.It is absolutely non-stick in use and holds the heat well so that cooking is lightning fast.I love the fact that there are no rivets holding the handle on which makes clean up much easier.All in all, a good purchase and a wok that should last me years.

    I followed the instructions supplied with the wok: washing in hot soapy water, drying with paper towels, before trying to 'season' it - using rapeseed oil (basic oil method). My stove has a circular wok ring which I positioned the wok on, turned up the gas to heat the wok, and added two tablespoons of oil. Wiped the hot oil around the wok for 8 minutes, but the oil in the bottom began to burn. Turned the gas off and let wok cool down, but the burnt deposits were impossible to remove with hot water and sponge. Even more vigorous cleaning with detergent would not shift the burnt deposits.

    I cant argue with the quality of the product. But theres a scratch /torn in the coating when i received, im afraid it might get bigger and food will stict in it.

    I have only had the chance to finish the seasoning process so far, but the early signs are very good. The pan heats up quickly and appears to be fairly even spread of heat. Its a good weight and well balanced. Buying pre seasoned saved a lot of time as the oil was evenly distributed over the whole surface. This is something i have found a little tricky with previous woks. Happy so far

    Yosukata provides detailed information on seasoning and care of their products. They include a step by step manual for all aspects of wok maintenance including cooking tips as well as YouTube videos. They also warn about their wooden handle loosening if the initial burn is done too close to the handle.If you follow their advice you can't help but achieve a proper cooking surface. The initial burn off of oil produces a heavy acrid smoke and really should be done outside. I used my turkey fryer, it was quick and easy.Almost all of the negative reviews I have read are from those who have not read, understood or followed the guidance provided.I'm very pleased with the wok and particularly the welded not riveted handles. The welds are very neat.The 16 gauge carbon steel provides a more manageable weight for me as well.Update, I've been using the wok for a few weeks over a 15000 BTU butane stove. It has developed a great patina, I have no issue with food sticking. The wok cleans easily most times with hot water. Occasionally sugary sauces will stick but are easily removed.The wood handle insert has loosened presumably from repeated exposure to heat. I removed the two screws holding the insert, rotated it, drilled new holes and inserted longer screws. The handle is secure once again. The screws supplied by Yosukata are very short.

    Dopo aver effettuato il trattamento prima dell'utilizzo e con tanta voglia di provarla devo dire che funziona veramente molto bene, per me è ben strutturato e la fantasia di effettuare delle ricette con questo strumento da cucina diventano realtà.Nota di merito anche al corriere che con cortesia ed educazione ci ha consegnato la merce.

    It is a big pan that I use on a Weber Spirit ouside Kitchen. I was a bit cowed by the whole „seasoning“ cult on Youtube and the „You seriouslg got to know youre doing“ on sochial.It has been one of the most happifying decisions of my life: take out the „flavor bars“ from the Webber Spirit 4 burner gas grill and the feather light wok sits in the middle of three burners in the „sear zone“. With an 11 kg gas tank (wich, contrary to advertising, does NOT fit into the cabinet, so I wriggled it in diagonally with the added benefit that the valve sticks out of a whole on the right side of the Weber - much easier to reach for daily cooking.I could not be happier. Asian Food is on a totally different level, easy to do (prepare, heat to medium hell, toss in and toss up) looks spectacular (wok chi, flames roasting veggies) and has held up admirably (wood handle in themperature heating the barbecue). Full recommendations, will never touch a teflon/induction stove pan again!
