I got a nasty cold when I was travelling to the Caribbean. By the time I got home, all symptoms but the cough had subsided. I tried everything - flu tables, cough syrups to no avail. As a last resort, I bough Vicks. Three applications, and the cough is almost gone.

The compact size is its strongest suit, fitting snugly into a pocket or purse.However, when it comes down to effectiveness, it's more of a gentle breeze than a strong wind. Having been a user of more potent rubs in the past, I found the strength of this vaporub to be on the milder side. It doesn't pack the same punch as its counterparts or other brands I've tried.

I saw the weight of course but hadn't anticipated quite how small the pot would be. Have repackaged to return to seller and will get a full sized pot for a few pence more from a high street shop. However, if you are short on space and need to travel light, or know a borrower with a cold, this is the pot for you!
