5.0 out of 5 stars Great keyboard, not only for gaming
This is a really nice keyboard, not only for gaming but also for typing.- Romer GRomer G switches are listed as tactile, they don't quite have the bump that cherry MX browns have but they do have a subtle bump and there is a definite press to them before they move, unlike most linear switches. They seem good for just general typing and while gaming, i haven't noticed them as any quicker but they definitely respond well and I've not had any accidental key presses.- BuildSo it's plastic keys, metal plate then plastic underside. Feels very solid, fairly weighty so it's not going to slide around the desk. When typing there is a metallic echo after the key presses, maybe as the key bounces back up it causes some kind of resonance. This is probably the worst thing about the keyboard, but it is VERY MINOR!- LEDsRed. Just red, no RGB or anything like that but it does work well for the understated look of the keyboard. nice. There are a few options in the software for customising the light effects.1. Variable brightness. There are 5 options, incliuding off.2. Breathing. the lights fade in and out and you can adjust the brightness and speed of the fades.3. Audio analyser. Loud sounds make the keyboard light up bright, silence makes it dark. This is a nice effect but i've noticed it does seem to cause a frame rate drop so maybe not great for games but perfect for music.- USB pass thruSo there is a USB 2.0 port at the top right of the keyboard, great but it does mean you have 2 USB plugs for the keyboard, one for the keyboard itself, one for the USB pass thru, but you can plug a small hub into it and have an ON-DESK USB port selection.I think that about covers it. if you're looking for a good basic simple but mechanical keyboard, you cant go wrong with this. Sure it's not going to be in the same league as keyboards costing double this but if you're on a budget (who isnt) this is a good keyboard.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Value
I think it's fantastic. No RGB just plain white backlit, no software needed. Its simple and the keys feel great. Got this for £50 and I think you'd have to pay double to get a better one than this.
4.0 out of 5 stars Logitech G413 TKL SE - an okay keyboard
Logitech G413 TKL SEKeyboards are very personal things & I’ve been searching for a simple, backlit keyboard for ages, but didn’t want the full RGB theatricals, just a simple. White light that would help my aging eyesight see what I was writing. This keyboard meets about 75% of what I like. I don’t really care about the 6-key rollover.Good points: It’s small (70%), has a good weight to it, and feels fairly robust. The font is clear and not gimmicky, the lighting is through the letters, and not surrounding the keys. Key noise is louder than a membrane keyboard, but not too bad. Theres a two-years warranty offered so I’ll need to see if the keys and LEDs stand up to time. I’m no intense gamer so the board won’t get hammered.Poor points: There are five lighting presets and that’s it, no user-configurable settings. Forget the Logitech G-Hub software (even though the download is offered for it on the Logitech site), it doesn’t work with this keyboard. Only five presets and no option to program others is a bit disappointing. The ‘always-on’ backlight is a bit too bright, but I use the ‘Reactive’ option which is a bit dimmer but still visible. The other three presets are the usual flashy nonsense. The Function keys secondary purpose is not backlit.Overall I’ve had the keyboard for a couple of weeks and its working for me, but I’ll update the review if things change.
5.0 out of 5 stars THE entry level gaming keyboard! Get It!
Considering the price I am VERY impressed with this product.Pros:-Very affordable entry level gaming keyboard-Quite comfortable to use and is at a good height-The tkl size can be a positive for minimalists or those who don't have a lot of space-The keys are very satisfying to press, and responsiveness is great-Sound from keys is audible, but not loud-It's compatible with HyperX Pudding Keycaps (as illustrated in photo)Cons:-The brightness is dimmer than anticipated-The 'FN' functions may occasionally require you to unplug and reinsert to workConclusion:I am VERY impressed with this keyboard and will be using it exclusively henceforth. I believe this is an ideal keyboard for veteran gamers and newcomers alike. I'm personally using this over my Roccat Aimo 100 as I love the simplicity of the design, compact size, and ergonomics of this keyboard more. The keys being compatible with the pudding keycaps I owned previously was a huge positive, and lead to the design layout you see. The brightness not being stellar is a small price to pay for an otherwise impeccable piece of machinery. Highly recommend!
Pienamente soddisfatto
Ha superato le mi aspettative, ottimo design e anche il rumore della digitazione, adatto alle mie esigenze.
Mechanical keyboard with a membrane price
Decent piece of tech. Great feel and responsiveness.I love the hard noice as I hit the key and it has been brilliant in getting those wins in Warzone.
Parfait
Clavier parfait. Très bon rapport qualité-prix
great keyboard
Non-flashy functional and solid keyboard. Gets the job done
