No set up needed, just plugged it into my pc and by the time I got my recording software open it was ready to go. I was amazed how smooth the raw audio sounded, with only a little bit of background noise despite the state of the room I tested it in. As a novice, I was happy with the sound quality and it's more than suitable for what I need it for (recording audio for training videos while working from home).

This plays nicely with the other logitech kit and can be managed centrally from the logitech suite. The mic is fine and works well. It's obviously not a pro mic and I'm not going to be using to record vocals.It's got a light on it so obviously it's designed for gamers!!What I found a bit annoying was the stand, it is too lightweight and I found it being knock and moved about to easily when enthusiastically playing a game or even knocking it over just moving my keyboard away from me. The stand should be much more weighty or designed with a flat bottom with rubber or similar to provide some adhesion and grip to the surface.It's better on a boom that I have for my daughter for her semi pro mic but I don't really want to be using that all the time as it's a bit invasive. To give it some credit the mic has two thread positions for mic arms so is quite versatile.So in summary, perfectly good everyday mic and looks the part but the stand could be better.

I have been wanting to get a mic for a while, but have always been put off by past experiences of difficulty getting them to work. There was no need to worry with this mic as I simply plugged in the usb lead and windows immediately detected the mic and gave a reassuring "your device is ready to use" message. I installed the G HUB software from their site which updated the mic and it was ready to go. There are also some settings and effects in the software that you can play around with, as well as being able to change the colour of the RBG LED logo.I think the mic looks fantastic and will fit in with most modern gaming or work setups. My only gripe is that the LED logo is situated on the back of the mic, so you dont really get to see it. The stand is quite basic and has no form of vibration dampening, so does tend to pick up the sound of my mechanical keyboard. I solved this quite easily by placing the mic on a soft rubber mat, although I'll probably buy a better stand at some point.Overall I am very happy with this mic and it's perfect for my basic needs. Sounds good, it's easy to setup and looks very sleek and stylish.

I ordered this product to use as a gaming microphone on my computer. Firstly set up was ridiculously easy, you just take it out the box and plug in the included USB and boom, you're good to go. You can also download Logitechs G Hub to gain additional things such as voice effects which overlay the mic and will work in anything using the mic for input. You can also adjust the RGB lighting through G hub to off, fixed or have it cycle through the colours. The sound quality is also incredible and apparently i've never sounded clearer which is great.You can remove the included stand if you wish to attach to a boom arm but I personally keep on the stand and it picks up my voice nice and clear from where it is.

This mic feels nice and sounds good for the price.The feet really pick up keyboard sounds and any other movement on the desk, so you really need to mount this on a mic stand, but if you put it on a surface away from your keyboard then its fine.The Mic head is huge, but I'm not sure that's needed. Its a shame the LED is so small, as it could have been a feature, maybe as a metronome, or just to count you in, but its just a tiny LED that serves no purpose.The software is basic, but lets you play with your voice, so adds some fun.Useful for podcasting but i think a headset mounted mic would be better for gaming, as you don't really want to pick up room noise.It feels nice and solid, and as its Logitech is should last

This Yeti Orb microphone works straight out of the box. I comes attached to a mini tripod stand and is about the size of a cricket ball.The logo lights up when you plug the USB in and changes colour when you are recording. I tested this microphone with Audacity and it produced a clear and background noise free voice recording. I host and record a radio show so this is the perfect mic for that or anyone wishing to make content with their PC or Mac computers. It connects to your PC via a USB-A connector, however you could easily convert that to USB-C. Perfect for vloggers and podcasts. A great mic at a reasonable price.

Ciao ragazzi, ecco la mia Esperienza con lo Yeti Orb di Logitech, davvero un Microfono FANTASTICO!Ho sempre utilizzato i Microfonini USB che si attaccano alla maglietta “quelli piccolini per intenderci” che nonostante la loro Amplificazione, catturano di tutto e moltissimi Rumori Ambientali “tipo le macchine sulla strada” e spesso mi era Complicato Registrare la mia Voce per i Video, o Semplicemente per parlare online durante le mie Sessioni Multiplayer o anche durante le Chiamate su Discord e Teams…Così mi sono deciso di fare un passo avanti e cambiare Microfono, sì ho voluto puntare ancora una volta su Logitech, dato che sono Possessore di Mouse e Tastiera, perché non Completare il Setup anche aggiungendo il Microfono? Così, ho preso lo Yeti Orb per “Migliorare” la Qualità Audio catturata dal mio Computer, beh sono comunque Soddisfatto del Risultato che sto ottenendo ragazzi! 👌Nella Confezione del Prodotto, troviamo:Il Microfono Logitech Yeti Orb (già montato sul suo Supporto a 3 Piedi)Il Cavo USB-C – USB-A da 2 MetriIl Manuale di Istruzioni (davvero Enorme ahah)Devo dire che consultando il Manuale di Istruzioni “che contiene TUTTE le Lingue del Mondo” dove spiega che bisogna fare questo: Collegare il cavo al Microfono, poi al PC, iniziare a parlare 🤣 FANTASTICO!COME SI SENTE QUESTO MICROFONO? 🎙️Beh ragazzi, BENISSIMO. La qualità catturata da questo Microfono è secondo me, almeno 5 volte migliore del mio Microfonino piccolo, anche dalle Lunghe Distanze Aumentando ovviamente l’amplificazione si sente abbastanza bene. L’audio catturato è Ricco di Dettagli, non distorce mai neanche aumentando al massimo l’amplificazione da Windows, e parlando molto vicini al Microfono, questo non succedeva con il mio Microfonino, che Distorceva un sacco se impostato ad un’Amplificazione superiore all’80%.Su Discord, mi dicono che mi sentono benissimo ed il tono della mia voce si sente anche in qualità superiore rispetto a prima. La riduzione del Rumore di Discord si sente bene e riesce comunque a migliorare ancora di più la sua qualità, eliminando il rumore della mia Tastiera Meccanica durante la chiamata.COME SI PUÒ POSIZIONARE?Si può collocare sia sulla Scrivania “come nel mio caso” vicino al Monitor e Puntato verso di me, oppure può essere montato direttamente sul Supporto da Studio “Braccio da Scrivania”. Ovviamente utilizzando il Supporto da Studio, potete collocarlo molto vicino alla Bocca, e senza avere l’Amplificazione della voce aumentata, in questo caso la voce è più ottimizzata e profonda. Un tono maschile si sente decisamente meglio con il Microfono molto vicino quando si parla di Microfoni a Condensatore. SICURAMENTE!INSTALLARE LOGITECH G-HUB È OBBLIGATORIO?No, non è obbligatorio, ma facendolo si sfrutta al Massimo ogni Dettaglio del Prodotto, come la Tecnologia “BLUE VOICE” che si è rilevata davvero UNA FIGATA! Infatti con questa chicca presente nel Software, si vanno a sfruttare molte funzioni Divertenti e Simpatiche “tipo Effetti sulla Voce”, oltre alle opzioni di Configurazioni Avanzate che migliorano l’audio “Regolando ed Attivando funzioni di Equalizzatori”.Quindi in questo caso, installare il Software porta NETTAMENTE degli ottimi vantaggi più! 👌Che dire più, sono davvero molto soddisfatto del Prodotto!Lo consiglio? Comprei este microfone como prenda para um familiar, e tem cumprido com a sua função perfeitamente, possui uma ótima qualidade de som, não é um microfone grande e é praticamente compatível com a maioria dos braços para microfones.

Kleine Kugel, Großer Klang
Auf der Suche nach einem Einsteiger-Streamingmikrofon wurden mir viele XLR-Mikrofone von Namenhaften Influencern empfohlen, die weit über 300€ kosten sollten. Da ich (noch) keine Followerschaft habe und nebenbei einen "normalen" Job ausübe, war ich aber nicht bereit so viel auszugeben. Aber natürlich will man auch nicht klingen wie in einem Toaster.Ich bin dann bei der Marke Blue gelandet, die mit dem Blue Snowball ICE ein Kondensatormikrofon auf dem Markt hat, dass Jahrzehnte lang erfolgreich für einfachere Radioshows, Gesang oder auch Podcasts genutzt wurde. Kann man nichts falsch machen, dachte ich. Tatsächlich war es auch ganz okay, aber dann habe ich gesehen, dass Logitech Blue aufgekauft hat und einen Nachfolger auf den Markt gebracht hat.DesignDer Nachfolger des Blue Snowball ist nicht nur kleiner und kommt nunmehr nicht mehr in Broadcast (Radio) Optik, sondern wurde als Gamingmikrofon umgedacht. Was erstmal etwas verschreckt, ist aber gar nicht so verkehrt. Logitech hält sich, anders als Konkurrenz (z.B. Razer) hier etwas mehr zurück und nur das "G" oben auf dem Orb erinnert an ein Gamingprodukt. Das Meshgewebe Vorne und hinten ist dezent, der Plastik"gürtel" wirkt ersmal günstig, aber auch passend. Man denkt im ersten Moment eher an einen Lautsprecher aus der Space-Age (Design aus den 60/70ern) als an ein Mikrofon.Der Standfuß wirkt günstig, ist aber funktional, nimmt aber kaum Platz weg, dreht sich und hat kleine Gumminoppen unten an den Stelzen. Schade ist, dass man die Höhe nicht einstellen kann.Der eigentliche Ball hat 2 1/4 Zoll Stativaufnahmen, die erstmal nicht so flexibel sind, wie das justierbare Gelenk am Vorgänger. Durch die 2 Stativlöcher erreicht man allerdings einen insgesamt höheren Winkel als noch zuvor und die Starrheit ist letztlich gar nicht verkehrt, wenn man das Mikrofon öfter bewegt.Nach einigen Zusammenstößen mit anderem Kunsstoff, aber auch Aluminium kann ich sagen, dass der Kunsstoff am Orb vollkommen okay ist, und wertiger scheint als er aussieht.Die Beleuchtung am Orb öässt sich übrigens komplett ausstellen, wenn man die Gamingästhetik verschwinden lassen möchte.FunktionDer Orb ist ein USB Mikrofon und damit wie fürs Streaming oder auch Podcast o.ä. gemacht. Er wird sofort am Computer erkannt und kann dort mit allen Geräten sofort genutzt werden (z.B. OBS) ohne weitere Einstellungen tätigen zu müssen.Der Orb selbst hat keine Tasten, es lässt sich "von Haus aus" auch nichts einstellen. Hier kommt eine Software von Logitech ins Spiel, auf die ich später noch eingehe.Klangtechnisch versucht der Orb den Snowball zu imitieren. Das klappt enorm gut, er klingt, für mein laienhaftes Ohr, exakt genau so wie der Snowball. Durch die Nierencharakteristik (also wie und in welcher Richtung das Mikrofon aufnimmt) klingt gerade Stimmt am Schreibtisch sehr gut und klar. Einziges Manko ist, dass man sowohl Tischgeräusche, als auch Bewegungen am Mikrofon selbst extrem laut hört. Das ist allerdings bei anderen Mikrofonen selten anders, weswegen das Stativ auch ausgewechselt werden sollte. Die "Niere" löscht Töne von hinten nicht ganz aus, was aber nicht verwunderlich ist, da es sich nicht um eine sog. "Supernierencharakteristik" oder gar ein Richtmikrofon handelt. Töne von der Seite sind aber leider auch gut zu vernehmen. Ein "Klacken" der Tasten o.ä. kann sehr laut sein. Hier kann man in den Einstellungen der Software noch Anpassungen tätigen. Man hört allerdings immer ein bisschen. StreamerInnen nutzen tatsächlich aber viel PushToTalk oder Stimmaktivierung, weswegen Nebengeräusche eher unwichtig sind. Im Broadcastbereich, den der Orb meiner Meinung nach auch beherrscht, sollte man aber wohl darauf achten, dass man wenig Kontakt mit dem Tisch hat, auf dem der Orb steht.Der Anschluss am Computer erfolgt übrigens durch ein USB-C Kabel. Das ist vorbildlich. Der Snowball musste noch mit Mini-USB betrieben werden.Die Funktion der Beleuchtung ist eher Gimmick als wirklicher Kaufgrund. Man kann mit RGB werben, aber wirkich wahrnehmen tut man die Beleuchtung nur vorne, wo neben dem "G" noch eine kleine Erhebung aus dem Ball ragt und anzeigt, ob die Aufnahme stattfindet. Man kann leider nicht das G unterschiedlich zu der Aufnahmeleuchte beleuchten lassen. In der Nutzung ist das banal, aber es gibt sicher Menschen, die sich an dem "G" stören.SoftwareDie Software ist umfangreich und ist in die Software aller Logitech-Gaming Produkte eingebunden. Solltet ihr also schon Maus oder Tastatur von Logitech nutzen, dann habt ihr das Programm schon und braucht kein weiteres.Hier lassen sich verschiedene Voreinstellungen von "Blue" festlegen, damit der Orb noch mehr klingt wie ein Yeti oder eben der Snowball. Achtung: hier werden auch Tiefe Töne betont. Das klingt in Stream selten gut, ich rate von der Nutzung der Presets ab. Zum Glück lässt sich über einen 3 Band EQ aber auch abseits der Voreinstellung nachjustieren.Es können digital Zisch-, Plopp und Störgeräusche unterbunden werden und Effekte genutzt werden. Letztlich kann die Beleuchtung eingestellt werden. Neben dauerhafter Beleuchtung gibt es noch einen pulsierenden Modus, den ich persönlich nutze. Wenn das Mikrofon genutzt wird, stellt sich die Farbe auf statisch, das ist praktisch. Man kann die Beleuchtung auch mit Windows synchronisieren.KlangIch bin leider kein Experte. Mir berichten Freunde, dass das Mikrofon weitaus besser klingt als das meines 120€ Headsets. Ich selbst empfinde es auch so. Die Stimme wird, allein durch die Größe des Mikrofons, weitaus "breiter" aufgenommen. Es klingt natürlicher. Geht man näher an das Mikrofon ran, so klingt die Stimme wirklich "nah" und laut und eben so wie man es aus vielen Podcasts kennt.FazitIch kenne wenige Mikrofone. Darunter sind Videomics von Rode, verschiedene Headsets und auch die Mikrofone in Smartphones. Ich nutze als DJ manchmal ein Handmikrofon. Das Yeti Orb ist tatsächlich kein kein professionelles XLR-Mikrofon, dass man natürlich noch an ein weiteres Gerät anschließen muss. Der Yeti Orb wird euch nicht von den "Großen" da draußen ans Herz gelegt, weil sie aber eben auch einen anderen Zugang zu Arbeitsmaterial haben, dass sie absetzen können. Wer mit kleineren Projekten startet, sollte sich den Yeti Orb in jedem Fall mal anschausen. Denn auch wernn ich nicht behaupten will, dass es das Beste Mikrofon ist, ist der Orb mit Sicherheit sein Geld wert und ihr werdet um ein vieles besser klingen, wenn ihr dieses Mic benutzt anstatt eines Headsets. Für den Preis bekommt ihr sehr viel Leistung.Kaufempfehlung!
