It was a birthday present for a 6 years old boy. Apparently he was thrilled with it. I bought it for him to encourage his spacial awareness, dexterity in putting the parts together, and the joy of seeing the ball bearings run through a complicated sytem of pathways - in otherwords of finding success.

I bought this for my grandson's 4th birthday . It needed some adult help to put together as the pieces are very well fitting . I don't know who had more fun watching the marbles go down , my grandson or his parents and grandparents . It is certainly a plus that the pieces are clear unlike some other marble runs . It is very sturdy and doesn't fall apart if moved carefully . I would certainly recommend this run , it is the first toy my grandson plays with when he gets out of bed

Will be easy for a kid to break pieces. The whole thing and the pieces are much smaller than they appear in pictures. My kids have an almost identical set but it was about 60% bigger pieces.

I use this I my classroom for SEN children who enjoy engineering and marble runs for their creative and quiet time. They enjoy playing with this and keep them occupied and engaged.

My 5 yr old grandson absolutely loved this,can build so high but be wary as the marbles are quite small,not normal sized

Started well but after a few months of use, the quality is really starting to show.The plastic seems to be breaking very easily on a lot of the parts, particularly the parts with moving pieces.The only brightside is that it is getting easier and easier to put everything back in the box after use.I would expect to get a lot longer out of something costing this much money.

Lots of parts to make a decent marble run, need to position it right to ensure it doesn't fall over but don't think it's a fault with the product as such. Maybe weighted feet would help though.Daughter loves it, great colours and quality of plastic

Great set, but not compatible with the National Geographic set
It's a great set, works really well. We already had a small set from the National Geographic brand and based on research, thought it would be compatible with this set. Although it's a perfectly good set, the pieces are a slightly different size than the Nat Geo brand. Highly recommend this set though, as it's a more affordable version of a marble run.
