GOAT
What can I say? Novak is the GOAT
Leak-proof. Plastic spout. Well-made.
I have tested it and it's really leak-proof including holding it upside-down with hot water inside. For it to be leak-proof, it must have some plastic. The bottle can be dissembled into three parts, a plastic cap with a big handle, a plastic spout and a stainless steel body. At first, I thought the bottle was plastic-lined as another review suggested. With the plastic spout attached, it does look like it's plastic lined. With the plastic spout removed, it's clear the bottle is not plastic-lined and the inside is all stainless steel. My bottle is blue and there's a matching blue ring at the top of the bottle, and you'd turn the blue ring to detach the spout. With the spout removed, it should be big enough for a water bottle brush to get in.I filled the bottle with boiling water this morning. Three hours later, the water was still hot like what most people would take their hot drinks. Ten hours later, the water was still warm. The bottle is big and well-made. Designed in Austria and made in China.
Eye-watering price.
Full disclosure: I don't follow tennis. I got the Djokovic version because it was available through Bolo vine, and the color is nice.Yes, this is a nice water bottle, from a reputable brand, and is high quality. It has a pro athlete's name attached to it. All of that together adds up to an unconscionable 51 dollar price tag. $51 to put water in, and yet also not be able to run it through the dishwasher. (It's not dishwasher safe)The chug lid is interesting--it's in two parts, with the first screwing into the bottle and the top screwing onto the inner lid. It works pretty well, but you do have to remove the entire top part of the lid to drink, so that's not perfectly ideal if you've got it attached to a carabiner or something. My guess is the "not dishwasher safe" rating is because the print on the outside will degrade in a dishwasher eventually, not because the bottle can't take it. I don't usually throw water bottles into the dishwasher, but I wouldn't really hesitate to put this one through because I don't care about the printing.Biggest drawback? It's an inside-threaded water bottle, so you can't buy cheap generic lids easily like you can for just about any other water bottle out there. Waterdrop has them available, but they're pretty spendy.
Great Bottle for Djokovic Fans!
As a huge Djokovic fan, I couldn’t resist getting this limited-edition waterdrop bottle. The design featuring Novak’s silhouette is unique and stands out, plus the bold blue color is eye-catching and feels premium. The 34 oz capacity is ideal for staying hydrated throughout the day without constantly refilling, and the wide mouth makes it easy to drink from and add ice cubes, which is a nice touch for keeping drinks cold.Functionally, the bottle does a great job keeping my water chilled throughout the day, and it’s also good with hot drinks for when I switch it up with tea. Cleaning is simple thanks to the large opening and easy-to-remove top, which makes it more convenient than some other thermos bottles I've tried. The only downside is that the cap feels a bit cheap compared to the rest of the bottle. It’s made of plastic, which works fine but would feel more premium in aluminum. Still, it’s leakproof and practical with its three-finger handle, so it’s easy to carry around. Overall, it’s a great bottle with a Djokovic flair, perfect for any fan who wants to stay hydrated like a GOAT.
Beautiful waterbottle with Novak Djokovic logo
As a tennis player, I was intrigued by the Novak's bottle. I wondered if it would have special features that would make it better for a tennis player! The large handle made it easy to take on court. It comes with only one lid, which has to be unscrewed to use the spout. During court changeovers this was not very convenient. The bottle, which is a large stainless-steel thermos comes with a plastic, BPA free spout which also unscrews, to allow regular ice cubes to fit. It would be better with a straw spout, which is a $12 option on the Waterdrop website. The construction and finish are first rate, so I rated it 5 starts. The logo might impress your tennis opponents, but it's just a nice bottle without much of a tennis advantage other than the easy to carry loop handle.
