Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the material and soft and lightweight it is.
4.0 out of 5 stars (EDIT: Returning) Decent quality, feels lovely and soft but slides around on my foam mattress
EDIT: Returning it. Why? The sliding around is annoying as hell. It's moving by a significant amount; I can feel the mattress underneath through the bed sheet on one side where the topper has slid by 20cm. I am a fussy sleeper and have to deal with other issues such as noise, and noticing and feeling this gap with my hands as I am trying to fall asleep is hardly helping. When trying to fix the issue by holding the straps with several pegs, under the bed, which didn't help, I measured the topper. As others have mentioned, and as I guessed when first putting it on, it is shorter than advertised. Bearing in mind that I ordered a King size topper, and it does say King on the packaging. The measurements were approx 185x138 cm (didn't measure the height as that's the least of the problems). So length-wise, it's about 15cm short for King size, and it's in fact 5cm short for being a Double. Width-wise it's just over the size for Double, but it should be 150cm for King. I don't know how a brand such as Silentnight could release such a product. Who on earth measured this? I figured it would flatten out and then be of the required size but that's not ideal, as it would mean the topper would lose it's puffiness/height. But that's not the case anyway, it's simply too short however you look at it, unless I suppose you somehow forcefully stretch it and somehow tie it down? Stupid idea. Wrong size and it sliding means big gap on the width (20 cm) and gaps on both top and bottom, so you can feel it with your hands and toes. I think this mattress is not legal to sell here because it's advertising as King with measurements listed as 200x150x10cm, here on Bolo. How is it still selling with everyone complaining about the size being wrong? I've reported the listing and now wasting everyone's time and money returning this USED item. No wonder some reviewers are claiming to have received a used topper - annoyed customers like me must be returning it by the numbers. Also, disgusting to receive a used bedding product. What's next, second hand underwear, Bolo? Downgraded to 1 stars to help others not to waste their time and money, and as I said, reported to Bolo for invalid product information. The good: everything is softer and more comfortable, my 800 thread-count bedsheet is protected from the mattress (which I don't care for, it has stains). I enjoy no longer feeling the surface of the mattress. Basically it's a topper and bedsheet/mattress protector for a very reasonable price. The bad: it was clearly designed to be used with traditional mattresses which have a rugged surface. My mattress however, is made of foam and has a rather slippery surface, so the topper keeps sliding to one side. The design of the straps is disappointing which uses 2 rubber straps underneath across the width of the topper, so doesn't really hold things together. But like I said, I think it wasn't designed for foam mattresses that don't have the usual surface texture we're all familiar with. I've seen other toppers use a rubber band per corner which would in theory effectively stop any sliding around. I am messing about with a few pegs underneath the bed (my bed allows me to get at the straps from underneath) to try and hold the topper by the straps. Not sure it's working very well :) I will probably end up experimenting with some other silly ways of stopping it from moving. So be prepared to have fun with that if you have a foam mattress or a slippery surface. One other thing, and this is a guess, I think the size is smaller than what it should be so if the price is negligible, order the largest you can. I think I would be a lot more disappointed with the sliding around if it wasn't for the fact that I made other upgrades such as getting all the bedding in 800 thread count, new pillows and new duvet - I am just overall very pleased, the bedsheet itself (and everything else) adds a new level of comfort, but I am still very pleased with the topper, I can feel its softness. 4 stars for the straps issue!

As expected, silentnight has a good quality and comfortable product.
5.0 out of 5 stars Comfy
I had an ultra thick foam topper but decided I need a firm but soft mattress to sleep better. This cover adds that extra bit of softness to my really hard mattress.Great for the money
