These little guys are a godsend if you have a toilet seat that doesn’t have access underneath, they fit snug and tight even though they weren’t exact same size screw the rubber fits into the hole perfect. Would highly recommend them if you have a newer type toilet that has no access to fit the bolts underneath. Quick easy fix I’m delighted 😁

Over time, toilet seats tend to work loose and become really wobbly.I have found that these rubber plugs, which can be used to replace old/worn plastic plugs and be pushed through the holes at the back of toilet pans, provide a really good fixing for the two bolts that secure toilet seat fixings in place. As the provided screws are tightned, the integral nuts compress the rubber sleeves and cause them to expand and create strong seals against the toilet pan's smooth ceramic surfaces.I have used them on WC pans where the existing fixings are accessible from below and, particularly, on pans where there is no immediate access to the fixings' components on the underside of the pans.Such rubber plugs fixings are now an essential part of my DIY kit.

You need to tighten the bolts so tight, which makes you fearful of damaging the toilet. Even then, the unit quickly becomes loose......but it's far better than the plastic ones supplied by Ideal Standard

I bought these to replace the plastic variety which I had probably over tightened and strained. A six pack at least given me six opportunities to get it right. This time I scrupulously cleaned to apertures to ensure there was no soap or bleach. I tightened over several days and I am now satisfied that I have a secure and stable seat . Additionally I have spares should one fail. I get a smug feeling every time I enter the bathroom.
