    DoukAudio M1 Pro 360w (160w x 2) power amp and media player with Bluetooth 5 (1 October 2020).I bought this primarily to drive a 16 inch 200w 8ohm PA speaker which I use in village halls for film sound - not at 200 watts of course ! But this little amp with the power supply packaged with it will drive up to 160 watts (32v at 5 amp). That is pretty ear deafening with an efficient 8 ohm speaker (and it would be even louder if you have a 4 ohm speaker). It's great to have the Bass and Treble controls which I need to tune the film sound to the venue. I decided on the DoukAudio M1 Pro because of its reputed clear sound and high output in a very small hand-sized package - and because it also had BlueTooth - so I can play in tracks and audio clips from my phone and also have licenced music on a USB stick. Also there is no bump and bang on the speakers when you switch or change input selection and reputedly no spark or flash if you plug in the power jack when the power supply is switched on - I have not tried this since you should plug in the power jack before you switch on the power supply.The BlueTooth connects easily with my old Samsung phone. I have tested it at home, walking from room to room - I do get the occasional drop-out on a different floor where the signal has to pass through the length of a wall, but that is only to be expected - I would not normally operate through walls !You can switch between BlueTooth and the USB output with a long press on the playback pause button, and the USB track will start playing automatically. Line input on the RCA sockets is selected from the main switch which also switches the unit off. (I have read before that the power to many of these small amps is not switched off with the switch and that the red power light stays on - but in this case it seems to work properly and the power light goes off).In terms of visual build quality and feel it can't be faulted. All metal housing nicely finished and with metal faced knobs with knurled grip. The knobs operate smoothly as they pass across micro indents on the pots with delicate inaudible 'clicks' which gives an air of quality and shows that some care has been taken with the design and feel of the unit. I hope the internals are as well put together.With a quoted Signal to noise ratio of 98db there is no annoying hiss from the speakers and the Bass and Treble controls can make a considerable difference to the sound to suit your music, preferences and room acoustics - although setting everything at 12 o'clock is generally fine. So far I'm very pleased with the product, price and facilities it offers. Might even get another one to install in the lounge !NOTE : the power supply makes a big difference to the volume you get from any amp - you can't get more 'sound' power (watts) out than you put in from your power supply block. This amp is supplied with a decent Power supply which can deliver 32v at 5 amp (ie 160 watts total power) which has to be split between the 2 channels. You are unlikely to need anything higher.RECOMMENDATION (3/10/2020) : Get some banana plugs for your speaker cable if you intend to unplug the speaker cable often - fastening bare wires to speaker terminal posts can be a bit fiddly if you are in a hurry.

    I bought this tiny little amplifier for the garden. I'm using it with 5 1/2" 2 way speakers and so far I've been very impressed with the sound quality.The amplifier is powerful and easy to operate. The sound seems almost as good as my separates hifi system. There are no pops or bangs from the speakers when you turn it on, no humming noises just crystal clear music.Overall the amplifier is much better than I expected hence my rating. However, I do have an issue with the bluetooth. Basically the range, or lack of it. I find that my source needs to be very close to the amplifier with no obstructions in between. Even at a foot away if I'm holding my phone I find the sound breaks up. I know this isn't down to my phone as the bluetooth on it works fine at 100 metres for my drone.

    Needed to replace my tatty pc active speakers, had b&w passive cinema speakers not using lying around and active sub, (I've tried studio speakers before but alot of interference) this was a random find on Bolo, ticked all the boxes, thought id give it a go, connected up and tuned sub, has achieved exactly what I'm after, really tiny box seems like a great sound so far, more than loud enough, also tried Bluetooth from BBC sounds and Android phone, works well enough for me. Great. As for longevity, too soon to tell yet.

    Luv this got my 2 Sony front Speakers 280 watts RMS up in going the is sound amazing and that's just the volume, no treble or bass, add they 2 you think the speakers are going to smack you in the face 🤩Pity there's no remote can you get one? Plus is there anyway i can get this device with attachment to add my Sony sub/tweeter speakers 24 ohm's can't find info on the watts RMS but there around about 50 watts RMS? Excellent 5 ⭐🌟✨

    Looked good. Just two issues, one minor, one more serious:1) The power LED doesn't light up. There is obviously power to the unit because the Bluetooth LED does light up (in BT mode).2) There is no output. Not so much 320W but 0W. This is a quite a significant problem for a power amplifier.Credit to Bolo, ordered on Saturday, delivered on Sunday, collected on Monday, so well done to them. But this is a review of the product, not the delivery. Not sure about my 1-star rating for the sound quality because the silence is, as they say, golden. But silence is not what you buy a power amp. for.
