Fantastic tool adapts to everything you need in woodworking, you can clap down wood in two ways keeping you safe from "flyaway" wood. Also you can make small Rebate runs, which was the main reason I bought it.

This has been fantastic. lots of power, accurate cuts. no adjustments were needed out of the box.I would have liked it if the second wood blade had a cleaner cut/more teeth but it's by no means bad.The laser is ok for quick cuts but not 100% accurate, it would be nice to have a shadow gap like other models but for this value, I cant fault the tool.

This is a well made and thought out saw, handles and cuts brilliantly, plus it's a true cut, I've had a few saws before and this is the best so far by a long shot, a nice piece of equipment

Its not often I take the time to review a product that I bought for my DIY jobs, but this Evolution Mitre Saw is without question worth the effort. Below are just a few overwhelming positives:1) Will comfortably cut through a 4X4 fence post.2) The cut itself using the wood cutting disk is absolutely perfect with minimal to no blow-out on the cut 4X4 posts. (two disk types supplied, one for wood/timber the other disk for metal/plastic ect ect)3) All the functions that come standard with this saw feel purposeful, exact and very well designed.4) The laser cutting guide on this machine is spot on. I know some purest out their may think a laser is quite gimmicky, but this opinion is debatable and I use mine every cut.5) The R255 SMS-DB mitre saw can be fully adjusted to the uses preferences, but like mine no adjustment was needed as all levels were correct from factory.6) You get a 3 YEARS warranty with this Mitre Saw and registering the saw was a breeze.This saw for the cost is unbeatable and if you can get over the fact its not a ",mainstream saw" and decide to buy this saw, you will not be disappointed in the slightest.

L'appareil a été livré avec une prise UK, je n'ai donc pas pu pour le moment l'en servir...Note moyenne donc pour ses performancesEdit: Après achat d'un adaptateur prise UK/France, j'ai pu enfin tester la scie. Les premières coupes sont satisfaisantes (bois et alu). Une étoile supplémentaire donc.Pas de 5° étoile pour le problème de prise inadaptée, et aussi car il y a un très léger jeu dans la tête, les coupes d'onglets ne sont donc pas parfaites, mais pour des pièces acier à souder, cela sera largement suffisant.
