I had been looking for an acrylic humidor for a while and this one is fantastic. Yes it does arrive with a plastic smell but it’s not the humidor that causes it but the packaging, specifically the polystyrene used to keep the liner tray in place in transit. To solve it, I simply kept the lid open for 48 hours, then I put a sheet of Spanish cedar from one of my Cuban cigar boxes at the bottom, kept the lid closed for a further 24 hours, and hey presto the smell is gone. It fits about 15 robusto sized cigars with ease, and the plastic liner tray provides enough room to keep a Boveda 60g bag at the bottom. 4 weeks in and it keeps humidor perfectly, due to the small magnets built into the lid which keep it firmly snug to the body of the humidor even with the latch open. All in all it’s a lovely humidor for showing off one’s cigars. I plan on buying many more to create individual collections of display cigars, and this also reduces the risk of mold or tobacco beetles spreading across an entire cigar collection.

I already have an acrylic humidor sold by the same company that makes the humidity packs that you will probably use in it. That humidor if you can find one will cost you at least £90 and the only difference between them is that one has a cedar vented tray and the lid just lifts on and off. This one comes with an acrylic vented tray and has a hinged lid with a clasp therefore making it suitable for use as a travel humidor too.All a humidor has to do is to hold cigars and humidity and this does both perfectly, a single Boveda pack holds a steady humidity as I type.Overall this is a very good buy for a desktop humidor to display your cigars, just remember to keep it out of direct sunlight if you don't want them to fade.

Very pleased with this product. I didn’t know what aspect for such a low price, but it’s very sturdy and definitely old the humidity. Acrylic is thick and magnets work perfectly. Arrived with a premium package well wrapped. I was waiting a bit to test the quality with the first two, I will definitely buy more for my premium cigars.

When this arrived, it was beautifully packaged, and look like a high quality product. Unfortunately, it has a strong odour, that returns every time the lid is closed for a length of time - not sure if it is from the glue or the plastic itself. Tried washing repeatedly, but cannot get rid of it, all I managed to achieve was to turn the screws rusty. I daren’t put any cigars in it as they will absorb the smell. Looks great, but unfortunately not fit for purpose.

As soon as I put the boveda pack and cigars in, the humidity continuously went up until it reached the perfect humidity, indicating no leak of humidity at all. The build quality is absolutely solid and the transparent box is far more stylish in my opinion than a wooden one. I think that many people new to cigars may feel that they NEED to have a wooden humidor and must spend at least £100+ to get one that won't leak, but I'd urge them to consider this type of humidor box made of this material as it's much easier to make it seal than wood. The reason that those wooden ones that hold humidity are so expensive is because it's not easy to make wood hold humidity, hence the price. But they are not more expensive than this item because they work better, that is simply not the case. That being said, I would definitely caution you if you intend to store more than 10 larger cigars because they won't really fit. But you can just buy multiple of these boxes if you want. I strongly recommend this product.
Unbeatable for the price
I never bought Boveda's acrylic humidor because it was excessively priced. This humidor is solid, good latch, a place for Boveda pack on the bottom and seals well. For 23 dollars it is a steal. i washed the thing out with dishwater soap to remove the smell and after this it has no odor. It is good for up to 20 cigars, right now it is full with 5 Padron no 9, 5 robustos and 5 Perdomo epicures. I wish it was a little bigger but for 23 bucks, the quality is there, the thing is solid and seals well, and I dont worry about curing it before hand like cedar humidors.

This humidor looks great on your desk or bookshelf. If you're storing a small amount of cigars. But there are multiple issues with this box. Let me start by saying it's not completely air tight. This is not a tupperdor, so its not going to seal in the same way. The magnetic locks on the side doesn't do anything to add in keeping moisture inside.As with previous complaints in other reviews. The acrylic stinks! It has this odour that is still around after you wash the humidor. This is probably due to the cheap acrylic used. I had to purchase a sealent spray and let it set for 24 hours before putting any cigars inside. But even after, the stink eventually leaked into the cigars and ruined them.The tiny screws on the front latch came off after opening the humidor 3 times. I had to glue it back in place to prevent it from falling off again. I'm thinking the hinges on the back are next. If you value your cigars. Think twice about your purchase.DO NOT BUY!!!
Great little humidor
Super little humidor . Great seal and can store a fair few sticks. Love the internal separate which keeps my bovida packs away from the cigars.Can confirm it’s better than the other popular scotte one - as I have them both
Holds humidity, no wait time for use, and beautiful design!
The media could not be loaded. Unlike most wooden humidors there is no need to season it so you can use it immediately. It holds a pretty good amount of items which include a few cigars, cutters, a temperature gauge, and even my torch. I really love how there is a separation between the potential humidity control packets or whatever you are going to use to create humidity and the cigars themselves (and it's easy to use you can just lift it right off and set it back down). I love the clear design so I can see exactly what's in there without having to open it up. It worked instantly as you can see from the video...it is already holding humidity way better than a wooden humidor I had bought previously. It is beautiful, spacious for my needs, and I will definitely be purchasing again. Amazing value and exactly what I was looking for! There really wasn't a whole lot that I saw to match my aesthetics, I'm female and I wanted something kind of attractive and unfortunately what I had thought previously just didn't work. This is a great option and is really a unisex design so it is really great for any cigar lover. Would make an awesome gift. I am really happy that I took a chance and bought this one.
Poor quality. Broken on receipt
Good idea but this arrived broken - cracks in 3 seperate places. External packaging in excellent condition. Internal item bust. Useless. I can only conclude it was broken before it was sent
