Plates could be stiffer (alternative being to use two or three underneath each other) but ok for dry/light food. Great for party food for example but for anything wet (eg tinned tuna) the plates absorb the moisture and are literally falling apart by the time the food is eaten.

I refuse to spend holidays washing up so the good crockery goes away and out come the paper plates and bowls. Binned after each meal and 100s of snacks. Can be recycled so not destroying the environment. No arguments over whose turn it is to do the washing up!!
