I own a number of cheap digital callipers, and they all quickly fail, as the battery cover usually falls off, or the battery does not keep good contact.I would rank these callipers alongside the one good set I own (nothing special, or expensive, just well made). They feel good, the blades meet, and the screen is easy to read. Importantly for me, the battery cover is kept in place by a small screw, so no more randomly lost covers.The digital callipers come in a very nice plastic box, with spare batteries, and even a little screwdriver. Not exactly a mahogany box, but doesn’t feel nadty cheap either.Now, my measuring needs are not super critical, so I would not compare them to the higher end measuring instruments (which is why I only own one decent digital caliper, and it lives permanently in my metal working shop. I will say though, they are accurate enough for replicating parts in fusion360, and resin printing something that does what I want it to do.Before buying, I had read a number of reviews on Bolo, as they do help in getting a feel for a product, and I’m happy to give the callipers a 5 star review. They have ticked every box on my needs list, and I have no reason to knock a star off. I a reason occurs over the next few months to update this review, I shall do so.

Review for Digital Callipers, 0-150mm – I purchased this item and I am not affiliated with Bolo or the retailer selling this item. I am a teacher and I therefore have an impartial opinion. Please click on the ‘Helpful’ button – this lets me know if I am doing a good job or not. Many thanks.Overall, this is a good device and is worth the investment. The price is extremely competitive. There are many other digital callipers on the market which cost many times more than this example. What do you get if you spend more? Not much, some allow an external device to be plugged in, to allow for the recording of multiple measurements, while others are simply longer. Therefore, these callipers have most of the features of a pair of callipers which cost several hundred pounds.My ‘rudimentary’ testing of the callipers reveal that they are accurate enough and certainly would be adequate for the home and/or prosumer user. Unless you are producing items for industries which require tight tolerances (1000th of an inch); these callipers would prove sufficient.Some of the other reviews have negatively commentated about the ill-fitting box. The callipers will move in the box however, by simply opening the callipers 2.33mm (this is easy to measure given the application!!), they will no longer move in the box. Not perfect but not a problem.The machining of the tool is very acceptable and it feels well made in your hand. As others have mentioned the thumbwheel does feel a little ‘vague’ but does not affect the accuracy of the tool. The thumbwheel is used to open and close the callipers and seems to ‘slip’ if not enough pressure is used when turning. The slipping, however, does not affect the way the measurements are calculated and is therefore a small negative point and is enough to lose one star.It comes with a spare battery (LR44) and micro-screwdriver to change the batteries. Both of these are stored securely in the box.Conclusion, although not perfect, at this price (£20.99), there is nothing out there to rival this. Unless you are a professional engineer and need accuracy of better than ±0.03mm; then this is going to be a wise investment.

I brought this to replace my existing calipers which arn't digital. Getting older my eyes arn't what they used to be and the digital screen makes them easy to use. I have so far used them for measuring iphone screws and these calipers easily distinguish between tiny screws of 1.2 & 1.3mm. The construction is solid, steel and hardended stainless steel for the measuring gauge so I'm confident temperature won't be an issue when measuring.The case is sturdy.The instructions include a half page troubleshooting guide which covers the kind of things that could go wrong with a battery operated product like this. I like this and its likely to extend the life of this product.The battery is secured in a compartment held in by 2 small phillips screws & there is a screwdriver for this and a spare battery included.

Up until now I’ve just used plastic calipers but what a difference these have made and having a nice box the keep them in is a big plus for me as I’m always loosing this and this way they are protected too.The accuracy seems pretty high as far as my testing going and nearly a year later the original battery is holding strong.

Not expensive and actually handled well ( engineering for 30 years ) but the display developed a fault rendering them useless.

Je recommande à 1000%Voici mon expérience : après avoir été déçu par ma commande, "pas assez précis,mauvaise finition", le vendeur m'a contacté pour rectifier la situation, très professionnel,il m'a offert de me renvoyer a nouveau l'article, en s'excusant.....rare de nos jours.Vendeur sérieux, il prend soin de sa réputation et de ses clients.A recommander !!!
preciso e lettura comodissima
Ho sempre più frequentemente bisogno, per lavoro, di misurare il diametro di alcuni rotoli di carta e con la vista che peggiora riuscire a leggere il calibro tradizionale è davvero diventato complicato.Un amico mi ha consigliato questo e ne sono davvero soddisfatto, facilissimo da tarare, facilissimo da utilizzare e con i numero sul display belli grandi.Risulta molto robusto e ha un grande display su cui ci sono 3 tasti, uno per cambiare unità di misura, uno per la taratura a "zero" e l'ultimo per accenderlo e spegnerlo.Per misurare è sufficiente far scorrere la parte mobile lungo la scala graduata e il risultato della misurazione comparirà sul display, se invece dobbiamo spostarci di pochissimo per una misurazione più accurata occorre far ruotare la rotella posta di fianco al display.Insomma un validissimo strumento utilissimo per chi ha difficoltà a leggere i numeri piccoli

Tras mis dudas iniciales de si un dispositivo de precisión se puede comprar a la ligera por internet en lugar de un proveedor de este tipo de material, tengo que aceptar que este pie de rey, con su bajo precio, cumple su función correctamente.Con el pedido recibiremos el pie de rey, dentro de un estuche plástico con un interior troquelado para evitarle golpes. Dos pilas de recambio (ya tiene pilas puestas), el destornillador para poder cambiar las pilas y el manual en perfecto ingles (no español).He tenido la ocasión de compararlo con otro similar de la conocida casa Mitutoyo y además he tenido acceso a un patrón de calas para hacer las correspondientes comprobaciones, las conclusiones son las esperadas: El modelo de la marca reconocida se desliza mucho mejor, pesa menos y jugando con las calas, fallaba muy pocas veces.El modelo económico, fruto de esta review, pesa más, tiene un deslizar más duro y con un par de calas obtuve un error de 1 centésima de milímetro.Nada grave si las mediciones que pretendes realizar son esporádicas o no necesitan un precisión que necesite valores de 10 micras, el hecho que pese más que otros modelos o que deslice con mayor o menos soltura es algo que se deberá asumir tras adquirirlo a un precio tan económico. Cumple su función perfectamente con un precio reducido.

Was als erstes beim öffnen der Verpackung auffällt, ist das Gewicht. Schwer und stabil gebaut.In meinem Paket waren zwei Ersatzbatterien (LR44) enthalten, eine bereits verbaut.Woran man sich gewöhnen muss, ist das man nicht 4 oder 5x an einer Stelle einer Messung 6 unterschiedliche Werte bekommt. Man bekommt nur eine!Noch bekloppter ist, wenn man den Schieber auf 0 fährt. Da zeigt das Display 0,00 an! nicht + oder -, Nein! 0,00!Von sämtlichen meiner bisher benutzten Schieblehren bin ich sowas einfach nicht gewohnt.Und nun das Schlimmste! - ICH HABE NIX ZU MOTZEN! Nichts! moch nicht mal gar nichts!!!.... mist! ;-)
Pas mauvais mais s'allume tout seul
Je viens de recevoir le produit. L'étui a de légères rayures mais le produit semble en bon état (difficile de savoir s'il est neuf ou non).Malheureusement, il s'allume tout seul dès qu'on fait le moindre mouvement ! Vu qu'il y a du jeu dans la boite, je doute que les piles durent longtemps...
