You pay for what you get. The duvet is made of synthetic material but breathes well. It is not as soft as intended by the picture but with a duvet cover, you can easily fix that.

Not a soft cover on the duvet. A bit crunchy sounding under the duvet cover too.Good size and delivered quickly.I would spend the extra couple of pounds to get a known brand in the future.

I hate writing negative reviews but I felt in this situation it was only right to give an honest review.The description states the quilt is soft and skin friendly, this is not true, the material used on the outside of the quilt is not soft or skin friendly, the quilt is stiff which is a strange description of a quilt but there is no other way to describe it.My son and daughter in law urgently needed a new quilt after their puppy had an accident on their quilt so I told them to order themselves a new quilt, which is why I guess a cheap quilt was ordered bless them but another new quilt is now needed because this quilt is so uncomfortable to sleep under as it does not lay nicely over them.On a positive note it is thick and extremely warm.I this case it is very much you get what you pay for but having had cheaper quilts in the past we have never had a quilt that is stiff and uncomfortable to sleep under, reading some of the reviews other people have commented on the cheap outer material but no one has mentioned their quilt being stiff so prehaps the one my son received is a one off but it has definitely put us off from ordering again
