Great clean bit of kit that is fast and reliable. Nice confirmation-click as the xqd card is inserted. Shot a European tour using this reader with no problems.Direct USB C connection on my Mac instead of using an adapter to convert old USB to C which slows down read times considerably. Interesting story about the guy who invented the original USB. When he passed away they didn’t know which way round to put him in his coffin!

Xqd card reader Does the job . Fits my Samsung Zfold 4 ,USB C connector is sturdy and a good fit . Phone recognised the USB and downloaded test images onto lightroom mobile no problems...

I bought it to ensure if I had a failure I would have a backup and expecting, because it has a USB - C connector it would be faster than the Sony original item with its USB - A connector. In fact, it is much slower than the Sony original. So yes, I have a backup but I am disappointed that it underperforms by a country mile.Card readers have only one simple job, and speed is a very important element of that job. The connector is capable of better so why oh why does the reader take significantly longer than an old USB - A device?Frustrated.

I have used this a few times on iMac mini with no problems at all. It was used to upload images from a Nikon Z6 and download a firmware upgrade. I just plug and play and don’t get to involved in the technology.

This card reader isn't a patch on my existing one, it didn't connect every time I tried it and it actually wasn't keen on releasing the card from the slot. Unfortunately this is being returned as I don't think it would last long under the amount of use I give my card readers. Very disappointing really, but hey, it was cheap in £'s and I should know that you get what you pay for.

La verdad es que no ha funcionado. Lo he conectado a un MacBookPro nuevo (M1) y no lo ha habido forma de que lo detectase.

Best for this price
Easy to usue, fast to contact (usb-c) but sometimes I need to disconnect and connect again, because for some reason isn’t visible on windows.
Funziona ma non sempre
Ho comprato da gennaio questo prodotto e purtroppo non sono riuscito ad avvalermi della restituzione, l'unico problema da è il dover tentare la connessione più volte prima che funzioni, credo che il problema sia il connettore o il cavo vicino ad esso, quando funziona, nulla da eccepire sulla velocità e prestazioni, ma come lo muovi si scollega.
