The BEST I Have Found - Show Your Pup Some Love! Also Great For Senior Dogs!
I have four senior dogs ranging in age from 13 to 16 years. The oldest one had started to get periodic bouts of diarrhea and not wanting to eat, which was dangerous as he's a very small toy poodle weighing only 3.25 pounds. Since I know that people's microbiome or gut health and immunity can decline with age, it made sense that this also happens in dogs. Especially if you ever had to put your dog on a course of antibiotics in their lifetime, which we almost all have. I started searching for a prebiotic/probiotic supplement for dogs, and when I found Zesty Paws Advanced Allergy Immune Supplement, I knew I had hit the jackpot! Not only does it have a prebiotic and probiotic (many don't know that the prebiotic is just as important as the probiotic because you need to feed the good flora), but it also contains EpiCor, a supplement I take myself! EpiCor is an all natural supplement derived from fermented yeast, and it is an absolute miracle for your immune system. I come into a lot of daily contact with people and I hardly ever get sick, even after being around people who are sick. And if I catch anything it's very mild and I'm fine in a day, I can go for years without catching even a cold. I was so happy and surprised to see EpiCor on the ingredient list! In addition, it contains colostrum, which is literally the foundation of any animal's immune system. If a young animal does not get colostrum from its mother's first milk, it often doesn't survive because the immune system never develops properly. These supplements work. Period.
We have two senior dogs and a puppy. We discovered Happy Paws first while searching for a probiotic supplement for the two older boys. The Aller-Immune bites came highly recommended and within a week of giving them the boys showed a lot of improvement. Less itching, less sneezing, bald spots disappeared and coats returned to their usual shine. Then along came or baby girl. A 9 week old shih tzu puppy who has more energy than any one living creature should have. Despite all of our efforts to wear her out, she could not be tamed. We went back to Happy Paws and found a Calming Mini Bite that works wonders. We give it to her in our nightly "wind down" routine and within half an hour it's lights out. Cue cricket and snoring sounds. The only negative side is she sleeps so well she wakes up in the morning ready to hit the ground running. Although, we believe that is a reasonable compromise for 6 to 8 hours of blissful sleep.
Worked for an older pug with moderate to severe allergies
So our pug last year had pretty severe allergies and was up all night crying and scratching. It would keep us up all night. We took her to the vet and Apoquel was prescribed for a hefty price, although it did work. Breaking the bank, we looked for a safer more natural alternative. We first tried another brand with different ingredients, and it mildly helped with the itching. This one had completely different ingredients which I hoped would build her immune system. The result has been great. It took about 2 weeks to really kick in, but now she sleeps through the night, does not cry. Her thick keloid scars are gone. She, on occasion, still nibbles her paws and does what we call the "sit and spin", but for the most part she is very comfortable and very happy. I am really pleased with the results.Update: 7/22 She has been doing really on this supplement in combination with a change in food. We have been using Purina Proplan Sensitive Skin and Stomach for older dogs. The combination of these two products really makes the difference in her comfort level. Her itching behaviors are greatly reduced. She may nibble her paws a bit on occasion during the day, but it’s relatively rare. The other itching behaviors are rare. She sleeps like a rock now and clearly is more comfortable now and doesn’t stay up crying and whining at night. We are relieved and happy pet parents!
Most AMAZING product EVER!!!
My dog has been suffering for years with what I thought was allergies or dry skin. I’ve tried everything short of prescription meds which is extremely expensive. She would itch all day, lick her paws, was very lethargic and had no stamina at all. After doing a lot of research I came across Aller-immune bites (also started her on Trekkers mobility supplements which has done wonders for her overlall aging/joint spasms and pain! They give her so much pep and energy and relief!!) not to push someone else’s product but after feeling helpless for so long then finding the perfect combo to not only help with her discomfort but giving her a better quality of life, she’s like back to her old self again! But these Aller-Immune Bites worked almost instantly! It took a few days of putting peanut butter on them to get her used to the flavor but now she gets so excited when I pull them out and she chows em’ down! So within a few days she slowly stopped itching like crazy! She NO LONGER LIKES HER PAWS!!! I’ve been ready all these articles about the underlying health issues that cause dogs to lick their paws so I was sure she must have a terrible problem but sure enough after a few days on the bits she stopped the licking! Like completely!! She not longer throws up or has terrible gas, even her skin has improved!I will always use these miracle bites and I tell everyone about them!! So if you are like me and are ready to spend hundreds of dollars on prescription meds which probably have side effects you have to try this product!! It’s a game changer!!

My mind I didn't like the taste at all. She wouldn't eat it no matter what I tried to do withat's it, so that's it?
