We also have a very good Dyson corded vacuum cleaner but it is heavy and cumbersome. This portable new one has made it much easier to use and especially stairs with no strains.The trigger is easy to use and does not require a lot of strength and It lasts about 20 mins before needing a recharge but is more than enough to do a room in one go. Seems to recharge within half an hour to reuse.

In my opinion this is the best hoover I've had. I've always bought Dyson & didn't go with cordless previously believing it wouldn't be strong enough as me & my two girls have long hair which can get stuck to the carpets. Living in a townhouse I did find the upright Dyson too heavy & I've suffered with Sciatica in the past so was advised not to do much 'sweeping' motion. This hoover is so lightweight & easy to do stairs without the long pole that I actually enjoy getting the hoover out just to run over the off room here & there whenever needed. It's powerful & charges up quickly, easy to empty, tools are good. Highly recommend.

Me: "Hello Dyson Customer service team. I've taken delivery of the new cordless vacuum cleaner but I can't see how to detach the battery for charging. Can you help?"Dyson: "There's two clips and three screws you need to remove to do that. There's an online vid ... "Me: "What, every time you want to charge the battery? There's no quick release switch?"Dyson: "No because you have to use the wall mounted charging station. You can't just take out the battery and charge it on a sideboard ..."Me: ".. like you could with your previous models"Dyson: "Dyson cordless cleaners have never had removable batteries for charging, I should know because I've been here six months"Me: "I have an innovative design suggestion. Include a quick release mechanism for the battery so that it can be charged on a sideboard, just like the DC35, DC32, DC36, etc., etc"Dyson: "I don't know those models though ..."Me: "Haha. Evidently. How much do your product designers get paid again?"

It took me a good few years to take the plunge and splash our this much on a cordless Dyson, but I’m so glad I did. It is lightweight and the suction is great on hard floor and carpet however I do find that hoovering on carpet/rugs drains the battery a lot quicker. I still prefer our mains powered Miele for doing the stairs as the dog hairs (we have 5 dogs that shed all year round) can get stuck right in the carpet and the battery won’t last for doing the 3 flights of carpeted stairs in our home as well as all the other rooms in one go.For convenience this couldn’t be a better product, I use it every single day.

Total lack of suction compared with other Dysons. Also read the small print. Returns could cost you 20-30% of the cost. What is going on James?. Your products used to be the best.

Compré la dyson porque tiene muy buenas opiniones y se supone que es la mejor del mercado. La compré nueva,no reacondicionada.Mi sorpresa ha sido que no funciona y además le falta una pieza! No entiendo como pagando casi 500€ llega así un producto. No le pongo una estrella por que no me han puesto pegas para devolverla.
