I bought a pair of these amplifiers in July 2023. Within 10 days the blue ( left ) amp had ceased to work. I contacted the seller and had a replacement unit provided. However this and the red ( right ) amp have now both ceased to operate. I have asked for a full refund as these were not cheap items.

This is an amplifier, it is not a hearing aid but it will aid your hearing. It amplifies everything not just voices but paper rustling, wind, traffic etc. There are numerous reviews saying it squeals all the time. When it first arrived and I popped a battery in then put it to my ear it did squeal loudly. I then got the little screwdriver that came with it, put on my strong reading glasses and turned it one way till it stopped. I then put it to my ear and it squealed louder, so I turned the volume completely the other way, put it to my ear and heard nothing, so I inserted it fully into my ear to familiarise my ear with it in. I then took out the device and turned the volume up a quarter turn then put it in my ear again. There was a very light squeal initially but it stopped when fully inserted. This setting was enough for me, it amplified the sounds around me a little bit and I could hear my wife speaking easilly so I left it at that. I have been using it on and off since and find it helpful when talking to people that don't speak very loud. It does the job if you use it properly and realise it is probably turned up quite high from the manufacturer.

Alright when its working, but this is the2nd one that has stopped working, i have only had this recent one, 3 weeks, and its failed again, i love Bolo, spend many 100s. o £s.. but there is a serious problem, it is impossible to contact them, things are worded so that your issue is not on the list. it is impossible to Phone them,...i am 86years old and rely on the Hearing Aid, Please Bolo, do something about this...you are great,..on most things.
2.0 out of 5 stars I had problems with the volume control dial and loud feedback
At first this worked for me and made conversation and listening to the TV louder and easier. However, I place it in my ear a few days later and was blasted with loud feedback. I turned the volume dial anti clockwise and with the arrow pointing in a SW direction as per the instructions to lower the volume. Still loads of feedback. I noticed that the volume dial would turn and turn anti clockwise without stopping so where was the lowest setting?? I gave up and sent it back as it seemed to be faulty. I wouldn't recommend.

The only thing I find wrong with these is they need a stronger speaker or microphone especially the right one, when my keys bang against each other it's like a dodgy car speaker crackling away, other than that they are brilliant for me, now instead of having TV on full volume its turned down to low and i dont have volume on hearing aids very high, I'm finding them a hell of a lot better than NHS ones.

Great little hearing aid. You get a selection of plastic covers. I found the small one very comfortable. Easy to put on and very easy to adjust the volume.

It was marvellous when I first got it after 6months it stopped working and I couldn’t get in touch with anybody for help all my emails went unanswered

En fait, le plus "difficile" est de choisir l'embout le mieux adapté à votre conduit auditif et que celui-ci le rende le plus hermétique pour éviter le fameux effet larsen. Cet effet larsen, vous l'aurez de toute manière en positionnant votre appareil. Ce n'est qu'après beaucoup de manipulations que vous le positionnerez rapidement et que ce sifflement ne se fera entendre qu'un très court instant.

Hace años que utilizo este tipo de amplificadores como audífonos. Son muy cómodos, se adaptan perfectamente al oído, no son nada molestos y de muy buena calidad.
I didn't expect much.........
I've had "professional" hearing aids and also purchased "hearing amplifiers". The "professionals" were way too expensive, so, as they failed, I switched to the lower cost "amplifiers". I'm a retired electronics engineer, and decided to get the multi-function devices that provide settings for different types of hearing loss. Typically they have one control for setting both the volume and the type of hearing loss. I found this to be annoying, as the settings could be changed accidentally, so you would have to cycle through an number of taps to where you started. In the course of doing that, I would occasionally hold the button down too long, and the mode would change, and I would have to cycle through those settings to get back yo where I started. Also, the process is challenging because the "button" to control the unit is very small.Searching for a replacement, I found this device that has one fixed hearing setting and a rotary volume control that you set with a screwdriver that comes with the unit. I received it the next day and fired it up. I set it to maximum volume and used the dome that was already attached to the unit, Of course, I got squeals because of the feedback. I reduced the volume setting until the squeal was gone and then did a final "calibration" by tuning to a couple of TV channels and adjusted their volume settings to the volume I normally use. I then did the final volume adjustment to the unit.I am very, very pleased with this device. The sound is very good, and it's nice to know that the volume setting will stay where I put it.

Buon prodotto, lo ricomprerei
Acquistato per mia madre per avere un apparecchio di riserva da utilizzare nel caso il suo, fatto su misura, si guasti o abbia bisogno di manutenzione.Una volta trovato, fra i vari in dotazione, il "cappuccetto" in silicone giusto per adattare l'apparecchio al suo orecchio, mia madre si dice soddisfatta dell'acquisto.Il volume si regola facilmente utilizzando il piccolo cacciaviti in dotazione.Certo non è paragonabile agli apparecchi acustici personalizzati,ma considerando il costo fa egregiamente il suo lavoro. Non so se sia possibile acquistare "cappuccetti"in silicone di riserva.Spero di sì.
