I have used this device for around 6 months now whilst self maintaining and diagnosing my 2003 1.6 MK4 Golf match and it has been AMAZING and has saved me hundreds of pounds, This plucky and fairly rudimentary device comes with a few ace cards tucked in its sleeve that you would expect only a flagship device could offer you, i was amazed that after reconditioning my throttle body and performing a full service this decently priced device was true to its roots and was able to align my throttle body and clear the lights first time no problem.This device helped me diagnose 2 cylinder misfires and a faulty door lock module with some light reading which i repaired both inexpensively and effortlessly with the help of youtube, Why pay the garage!!Fair enough the functionality and build quality is basic depending on what you want from an OBD2 device with standard features you would expect from a device in this price range HOWEVER, the quantity, reliability and consistency of the data on offer here i find is UNPARALLELED compared to devices 3 times the price all with no subscription.Just bear in mind the extra features are limited to VAG group vehicles only and be specific in what your needs are.

Bought this for replacing my rear pads and discs on my Audi A6.Plugged in to my obd port, followed the very clear instruction on screen, and it wound back my electric handbrake.Replaced my pads and discs, and again followed the onscreen instructions and reset my handbrake. Saved ££££ .Well built and feels good quality. Would highly recommend for a DIY mechanic, it has loads more features that I will explore in the future, and update soon. Very pleased.

Product is easy to use . However there are a few things people should know .When you get it you need to update the software . You do this by going to the Ancel site and downloading the file . However you need win zip a decompression tool to open the file . They don’t tell you thatWhen I got it 2 of the functions did not work. They corrected one with a new file . However I have a virus checker which stopped me opening the file . I had to check this out to make sure it had not got infected . It had not .The second fix one Iam still waiting for the fix.Overall service is quick and they appear to be very helpful .The device works well and did highlight a couple of engine fault codes . It clears them down too . Easy to use
100% compatible with my 2009 VW Tiguan. Saved money and time.
The media could not be loaded. I'm a DIY guy and love working on my vehiches replacing disc brakes and brake pads myself. My VW Tiguan has an electric parking brakes which must be reset after replacing the brake pads. I was struggling with using VDCS software ( software diagnostic tool ) for VW and Audi vehicles and discovered the ANCEL VD500.The ANCEL VD500 has the EPB ( Electric Parking Brake ) reset function built in! I performed the procedure and it successfully worked. Also reset several fault codes and caution lights on my 2009 Tiguan.Very easy to use and highly recommended.

Très bon produit. Il permet l’analyse des données ABS/ESP que certains produits de supportent pas. Permets d’obtenir les catégories de code d’erreur, le code numérique de l’erreur, et leur reset. D’autre options disponibles mais au delà de mon expertise.

Ich bin vom Produkt überzeugt. Hatte plötzlich diverse Fehlermeldungen am GTI, Lenkungsstörung, ABS Störung, ESP und Reifendruckkontrolle gestört. Die Werkstatt wollte nur für das Fehler auslesen wenn nicht dort repariert wird 65,-€. Das Gerät hat mir den Fehler klar angezeigt, das Ersatzteil habe ich günstig gekauft und selber gewechselt, funktioniert. Beim Händler wäre das Ersatzteil teurer gewesen, dazu dann noch die Lohnkosten. Für weitere Dinge bin ich nun gut gerüstet wie z.B. Handbremsservicemode zum Belege wechsel oder auch Lenkwinkelsensorjustage usw.
