I love these! They are so comfortable and easy to use, with the best sound quality — I can hear footsteps in games! I love SteelSeries products because they last a long time. I upgraded from an Astro headset because the amp box didn’t work and you couldn't really hear anything. I love the volume control on this and how you can split the audio from a PS5 to a PC or another PC. It doesn’t take up room on your desk. Thank you, SteelSeries! :)

I bought these due to finally getting tired of premium Turtle Beach headsets always breaking on me. Read and watched some reviews on this headset and very few people have anything bad to say about them. I use them for online gaming and chatting to friends on Discord.They have crystal clear sound and I have been told that the mic is very good with a natural sound too.Very comfortable to wear, even with extended play sessions.I have a large head size, and I have to have the headband extended to the max, so if you have a really big head, the fit may be too tight.The retractable microphone with the LED indicator is a brilliant feature and all of the controls are easily accessible on the cup of the headset.The game dac is easy to use but I honestly don’t mess with it too much now I have found my preferred settings.Overall, a fantastic headset. Excellent build quality with brilliant sound clarity and performance. Highly recommend.

I went from a wireless Nova 7 to this wired pro + DAC, the first issue was the wire and the lack of freedom, they don't provide longer wires and they are bespoke to the product, so you can only really get them from SteelSeries as far as I know.The interface on the DAC isn't great, it's a bit too basic in appearance, and the micro USB connection is especially concerning for a "pro" product. That being said, the sound quality compared to the nova 7 does seem to be more full and improved, and the microphone was definitely an improvement, my friends told me it sounded like I was in the room with them.The chat mixer function on the pro version is useless and a lot of the features from the nova 7 that were great, don't appear to have transposed to the pro version. e.g. turning the headset off and it switches to your speakers.Regardless, if you're going to get a headset I would definitely recommend SteelSeries. Buying a gaming headset is like spending the day as an adblocker, there are lots of gimmicks and buzzwords, but SteelSeries deliver on the experience. I felt like a kid in a candy store trying to decide which headset to buy, but when I opened a SteelSeries headset for the first time, I didn't get overwhelmed with endorphins with all the bright colours and RGB, I just had a high quality product that did everything I expected exceptionally, and had some extra features.Years down the line I had an issue with the pro headset, one of the whole earcups got separated from the head mount, I contacted their support, explained the issue - Which unfortunately seemed to be common, as they provided an almost exact replica photo as guidance on what the image should look like. The RMA process was steady and had a couple of hiccups, though in the space of 2 weeks I had gone from a broken headset to a functional one.If you're shopping around for a headset, I definitely still recommend SteelSeries after 5 years of using them, and definitely go wireless.

First of all, I got this headset for just £157 which is almost £100 cheaper than the original price, of course making this a bargain and 100% worth the money. I’ve had them for about a month now and I’ve played various games like The Isle. The Isle in case you didn’t know is a prehistoric survival game where you play as a dinosaur, as you might imagine, hearing things is very important especially when the sounds are most likely going to eat you. So I can say this headset, is ideal for any game, I could hear perfectly, the best of the features that this headset has are; surround sound, sound quality and comfort.The elastic band makes the headset comfortable and almost weightless at some times. The surround sound allowed me to fairly accurately pinpoint where things were in games, for example, if a large carnivore was behind me and roared, the headset would really make it sound like it was behind me, which is an advantage because I know if something is behind without having to look for it. The sound quality is also great, though probably not the best, it’s really good and the only thing about the sound I don’t really like is the slight lack of bass, however, this does offer a really clear sound, it’s not muddy at all. There’s also the RGB on the sides, which can be turned off or used with different colours and patterns. As far as the mic goes, It’s not bad, its far from a good microphone, though, so I would recommend if you want a good mic buy a standalone microphone. But if your not concerned about what you sound like, the mic built in will do it’s job, as well as retract which is a nice feature.

Awesome headphone, but SteelSeries need to do something about their earpads.
Still too small earpads so you have to buy aftermarket from wicked cushions was an extra 250 SEK there. Then I was personally a bit unhappy that I couldn't change a couple of things in windows and some other settings, but that's more me being picky.But overall they worked as they should, had no technical problems with them, can warmly recommend them. But if you have protruding or large ears, I recommend ordering a pair of Earpads from wicked cushions or you eras will suffer in the end.I hope that SteelSeries makes a pair of thicker ear pads so we with protruding or large ears can enjoy them out of the box and don't need to buy aftermarket ear pads. Especially in this price range.
Pricey but worth it for serious gaming
Over all a brilliant quality headset. Good materials used very comfortable to wear and sounds amazing. The software steel series engine is great and easy to use and i have had no trouble with it so far.Some minor things come to mind when i think of other people wearing this, is the size.If you have a very large head i could see you having some trouble as the headset does not have adjustable sides like most, instead there is this tension strap that can be adjusted slightly for different user’s although not as much as a sliding sides are able to.Perfect for my needs and i would recommend to anyone

j'ai vu beaucoup de commentaires, positifs et négatifs, comme beaucoup, je suis assez averti en la matière.Le son, c'est comme les goûts et les couleurs, au delà des aspects techniques qui sont le socle d'une comparaison, vous avez le ressenti, et le réel potentiel en fonction de vos besoins.Utilisation principale : sur PC, Gaming, simracingPour ma part, après avoir compris les réglages du DAC (faciles !), qu'il faut combiner avec un équalizer (comme Equalizer APO), avec en plus un rodage préalable des membranes (comme pour des enceintes), vous obtenez (selon le réglage de vos jeux également) un son surprenant, d'une clarté et d'une spatialité très ... très bonne selon vos jeux, votre musique, vos films. même les vidéos à priori en dolby atmos etc... sur youtube ressortent assez bluffantes !Bref, j'ai hésité au vu du prix, mais à présent suis totalement convaincu après un temps de prise en main, confort et qualité d'écoute assurés !
Ottimo Headset
Ho usato questo headset per un anno su PC.Design molto pulito, semplice e davvero efficace, i vari tasti funzione come la rotellina o il pulsante per disattivare/attivare il microfono sono facili da individuare e da utilizzare.Sono composte in plastica di ottima qualità e sono davvero comodissime, le ho utilizzate anche per 6 ore di fila senza nessun problema, in più i padiglioni sono in tessuto traspirante e permettono di superare il periodo estivo tranquillamente.Fantastico l’archetto che poggia sulla testa formato dalla caratteristica fascia di questa serie di headset marchiati steelseries, anch’esso comodissimo.Per quanto riguarda il comparto audio nulla da eccepire. Essendo progettate per giocare hanno dei bassi più brillanti ,così come gli alti, mentre i medi mantengono un buon livello.Dispongono di un surround VIRTUALE 7.1 che io consiglio di utilizzare in giochi come red dead redemption e similari ma non in giochi FPS come Rainbow six siege in cui consiglio di giocare in modalità stereo poiché ,come in TUTTI gli headset, il 7.1 va un po’ ad “impastare” le varie frequenze (e ciò non vuole assolutamente dire che l’audio non sia buono)Il microfono ha una buona qualità per essere quello di un headset da gaming e in oltre è dotato di un led sulla parte finale ( sono presenti led anche intorno alla scocca esterna dei padiglioni) che può essere modificato a proprio piacimento tramite l’apposito software scaricabile dal sito steelseries.In fine il dac funziona bene anche se ogni tanto uno dei due canali audio (gaming e chat) scompariva ma nulla di drammatico, nel mio caso bastava staccare e riattaccare il filo che collegava il dac al computer o alle cuffie.Ma magari è stato solo un problema di incompatibilità mio.Tutto sommato è un ottimo headset, assolutamente consigliato ma magari non al prezzo di listino, (io l’ho comprato per circa la metà).
