About this item:
100% L-Ascorbic Acid Powder is a powdered form of direct vitamin C that visibly reduces signs of aging by brightening and balancing the look of uneven skin tone and protecting your skin from damaging environmental stressors. Because it’s made of 100% vitamin C, it’s designed to be mixed with other serums, creams, or moisturizers in your skincare routine—allowing you to create a custom vitamin C treatment. Depending on your mixture, your combination may offer a high concentration of direct vitamin c and as a result, a very strong tingling but non-irritating sensation is expected during the first 1-2 weeks of use until the skin's tolerance to such high exposure is elevated.
Indications
Mix a small amount with other products in the palm of your hand.Apply to the face once daily, ideally in the evening.Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes. Use sun protection during the day. A tingling sensation can be expected; if the sensation is too strong, reduce the amount of ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) to reduce the strength.Use only as directed on unbroken skin.Patch testing prior to use is advised.Keep out of reach of children.

It arrived quickly and well packaged. I saw this recommended on a mature skin beauty vlogger channel and thought I’d give it a go because the active ingredient made sense. I have a sensitive combination skin with open pores and a few fine lines. I’ve been using it morning and night as directed then adding a layer of the Ordinary 2% hyaluronic acid +B5 on top. I seems to tighten, plump and smooth my skin all at the same time and I’m very happy with the results. I can really see a difference. I mix the powder with a few drops of water in the palm of my hand and apply to the face, neck and back of my hands. It does sting and tingle on my face for a few seconds immediately after application which is unpleasant and it makes your skin tastes like a vitamin c pill all day which is not wonderful, but I’m very glad I found it and it works for my skin.

i have bought very expensive Versions of this and ive loved it!!, the fact "The ordinary" has the same version but half the price is incredible, i use it with all my creams, especially any water based Gels.you only need half spoon( Spoon provided) to any creams an you will get instant Vitamin C fix it may sting slightly that became its active product, if it does happen add more cream to the Vit C powders..fantastic for Brightening your skin.

I hardly write reviews but , this is a great product. Helps to smooth texture and reduce scars. Very finely milled so you can add it in many other skincare products. Most products that claim they have vitamin c in it have probably oxidised and are adding zero benefit to your skincare. I have super oily skin and adding this to my spf helps to matte it out. This should help all skin types with an all over glow. Deffo give it a go if you’re looking to give your skincare a boost

Originally i tried the samples of Clinique vitamin c powder. It was a bit softer on the skin and texture was different.The ordinary feels to me much stronger. Tingles the skin a lot. I have a sensitive skin. I only apply it on the skin for 1 minute (mixed with water) and then wash it off. Skin feels rejuvenated after.

This takes some time to fade marks (started seeing results on the 2 week of usage) however it will leave your skin more refined and smoother, does have some stinging but that usually subsides within a few minutes this is a great way to fade acne marks/hyper-pigmentation and even out your skin tone, just make sure you limit the amount of air it's exposed to and keep it in a cool dark place.

This product is intended for the face and not the body. Do not put this near your eyes!!! If this gets near your eyes, you might have to call poision control or something. I just know it will hurt super bad. A lot of people don't know how to use vitamin-C, so I wanted to leave some helpful information as when used improperly, it can make aging worse and leave your skin much more vulnerable than without this.If you are using this to look younger, and you don't wear sunscreen routinely, this can make you look older (if you go out in the sun). If you stay in all day and don't stand near windows, you're fine. Vitamin C makes your skin more vulnerable to UV rays. Please never put this on and spend all day in 90 degree weather. You might "look" ok (if you don't tend to burn) but this is so bad. It's a chemical product for a reason. It works wonders on your face when you use it right.How I use it: I do my hyaluronic acid toner, then this power with The Ordinary Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3 mixed together (so I do 1 scoop of the powder with 4 drops of the resveratrol) after I heard about what a powerful duo this is. Lotion should be the final seal on your skin (if you use multiple skincare products).Vitamin C is a great product but you have to be serious when you use it or you will pay for it later or with a burn. If your skin is irritated, that doesn't mean it's burned. It's great to start using a small amount to see how your skin reacts. Give it time and your skin will thank you for this. It really does brighten my skin and I am always glowing but I've been using it for over 5 years. I tend to not use it as often during the summer because sometimes I forget to wear sunscreen.
