1. Nickel helps become corrosion-resistant and long lasting, so nickel-bearing stainless steel is commonly used in industry, BUT nickel is high up on the ATSDR list of priority toxins. Ours are made of food grade AISI 430 stainless steel (18/0, defined by American Iron and Steel Institute), which is NON-TOXIC, NON-ALLERGIC, thus more suitable for cookware.
2. Even heat distribution achieves the healthy non-stick purpose without toxic PFOA and PTFE coating. Enough cooking care is still required to achieve non-stick purpose.
ATTENTION
1. Prolonged exposure to acidic or basic substances may corrode stainless steel cookware; DO NOT store raw, marinating foods in the pan/pot.
2. To prevent sticking, heat the pan/pot until hot before adding the oil.
3. Heat at medium temperature is recommende.

I cooked a perfect omelette within minutes of unpacking. Thankfully I learned to cook before the non-stick age and know to get the oil or fat nice and hot, shimmering, before adding the egg mixture. Not the slightest sticking and the omelette slid onto my plate and into my tummy in no time. I have a proven alergy to Nickel and am absolutely delighted with this pan set.

I have been using this in my home for 2 months now and I cook pretty much every day. It's a fantastic stainless steel set that washes up well. There's so many great pieces that all I needed was to buy a nonstick frying pan and I am set.The little too set was a nice addition, but the potato masher broke after the first use. That wasnt surprising to me as those style of mashers often do - so I just bought a plastic one and have no issues with any other pieces.I generally put them in the dishwasher and they come out great. Using the stainless steel cleanser or barkeepers friend helps them stay looking like new. I'm considering buying it for a friend's housewarming :)
Pentole sufficientemente buone, ma manici pessimi.
Ho acquistato il set di pentole perché prodotte in acciaio 21/0 privo di nichel (problemi di allergia al nichel in famiglia).In generale non sono male, nonostante le pareti un po' sottili.Il vero problema sono i manici, che non hanno alcun livello di isolamento e diventano bollenti durante la cottura. Non è possibile maneggiare pentole e padelle senza presine/guanti.
Beautiful and cook well
**I did not include a picture of each piece**Visually, this is gorgeous. It feels solid and well-made but still lightweight and which is nice.I especially love the lids because they are pretty they are very easy to hold onto to pick up. The cooking utensils it comes with are really nice as well. I’m a little worried to use them with the pots and pans as I’m afraid it will scratch, but the paperwork included with the set says it’s ok to use them with the Homichef pots and pans.I have a little staining in my frying pan from heating up butter, but I chose not to season the pans which may be why. I didn’t want to season them as it says that once you do season, you should not wash with soap and water. I always want to wash with soap and water; therefore, I chose not to season them. Other than the little staining, they all have been wonderful to cook in and have been easy to clean as well.I have the Homichef 1.75 qt sauce pan and noticed that it feels heavier than the 2.5 qt saucepan in this set. So these are possibly lighter than others that they have, but they still feel really nice, and I like the lids better on these pots and pans than the other one I have.The only critique I really have is that I wish the size was engraved on the bottom of all of the pots and pans, or shown on the inside of the pan like my other Homichef saucepan. The set does come with a little checklist which shows the capacity and dimensions of each pot and pan which is helpful and nice, it would just be easier if it was actually engraved on the pots and pans. Overall, I’m very happy with this beautiful set and it’s a great price!

1) the product is amazing ! I’ve used all my pots and pans without any issues. If you’re a stickler for water damage and keeping your steel super shiny, Homi Chef does a great job providing tips and advice to do just that. I personally don’t mind that stuff at all I just cared about finding high quality products that were safe from nickel and aluminum and all that extra stuff for a great price!2) even if these pots and pans weren’t great, the customer service would make you a loyal customer. They really go above and beyond to help and communicate with you.
