    I always take a silver blanket on any hike I go on, as well as having a couple in the Car laying around. Used up the ones in the car a while ago and needed to replace them after coming across and accident. These are super cheap and work just as well, tried one out before confirming they'd be good enough to store in the car. Can say they do work and keep a person warm and sheltered.Dished a few out to the family as not everyone had spares. Really lightweight and fit in pretty much any first-aid kit, even the small pocket sized travel ones.

    Bought this for emergencies, I keep some in my car. Last winter when out for a walk on the local hill there was this guy who broke his shin, he was in shock. He was unable to put any weight on his leg at all. Even shifting his weight he was in massive pain. It was cold and windy even for Scotland. When we met him, he was shivering uncontrollably.I ran back to my car and got the emergency blankets, wrapped him up. It helped for sure - after a couple of minutes he was not cold anymore. Good thing too because it took the ambulance well over an hour to arrive.Glad I was prepared. Everyone should have this in their car. Very important if someone is injured to keep them warm.

    I'm a cfr and after talking to other cfrs they find having some of these to hand when on a night shift in town are a god idea. They're low price and could help someone not get hypothermia.

    We got these for my father who is always cold in bed. We put it between his sheet and blanket, his body heat is reflected back at him and helps keep him warm. It’s a very low tech solution, but it works.The foil blanket itself is quite thin, and you need to handle it with care or it will rip. Once it is on the bed and under sheets it stays in once piece and does it’s job

    First time I used one of these mylar blankets was after a charity run (I'd over done it and under prepared for the race) and was surprised how useful it was.Each blanket comes in its own resealable plastic bag and it's folded up incredibly small. Open it out and it covers quite a lot of space. Have used them in winter to help insulate pipes, and pets (gave some to a relative to cover their chicken coup) and now summer to reflect some of the heat away from windows.

    These could be a lifesaver I have given these to various people to put into their car so they are covered if they broke down in the middle of nowhere with bad weather or if they attend an accident to help then they would certainly help the people involved until help arrives.This is a really good idea as you just don’t know.

    Die Decken machen einen guten Eindruck. Haben nur Silberseiten, d.h. eher für kalte/kühle Umgebungen, aber dazu habe ich sie auch gekauft, also alles gut. Top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
