I gave this a 5 Star for flavour although I personally cannot vouch for this. I mix them with wet food and she eats it so I guess it tastes good.They're a great alternative to the leading brand and I noticed a big difference in my 12 year old patterdale after putting her on these. They are expensive but worth the money if it helps ease her joints and puts a spring in her step. I've been using these for months now and I'll continue to buy them.

My elderly collie has arthritis in his hips. He is very fussy and didnt like the yumove tablets very much so I tried this product.The capsules can be easily pulled apart and the powder mixed in his food. This way he eats it no problem. Works well on his joints and I see a much bigger improvement in his mobility than on the yumove tablets. Definately worth the extra few quid.

As with all these kinds of supplements, you can never be sure if they actually work, but once you have started you are loathed to stop! That's why finding a like for like product at a cheaper price than the alternatives is a good find. This product has all the same properties of at least 2 of the products I have been using, but considerably cheaper. Delivery was very fast too. Give it a go. A++
5.0 out of 5 stars Very effective treatment for stiff, painful joints
My dog is a border collie/lurcher cross. Both breeds are outdoor dogs and she is very energetic. She does everything at around 100 miles per hour. Above all she loves playing with a ball launcher and will play until she is exhausted. This was all very well when she was a puppy but she is now 7 and is starting to feel her age. She plays just as vigorously as before but when she returns from her run and rests for a while, it is clear that her legs are stiffening up and she starts to limp with one or other back legs. Our vet confirmed that she is showing early signs of arthritis and recommended glucosamine. I started giving her this about 6 months or so ago and after about 6 weeks she showed a noticeable improvement. She can now run around as before without any limping afterwards. Originally I gave her glucosamine tablets which had to be crushed so that I could mix them in with her dinner. When these ran out I switched to these capsules. These are easier to deal with than tablets as I simply need to open a capsule and pour the contents into her food. I had previously had doubts about the effectiveness of glucosamine but the improvement in my dog has convinced me that it really does work. I like these tablets and they are reasonably priced so I will continue to use them.

This was the first time I'd bought from the Dog Doctors and I have to say, I'm extremely impressed with the product. My dog Leo is getting on a little bit, he's a toy poodle who's not the most energetic - he likes nothing more than chillaxing with a hot water bottle and some doggy biscuits. He recently had a dental operation and the Veterinary nurse advised me to get Leo more active, so after the op I tried these Hips & Joint supplements and you know what, he's only gone and got a new lease of life! I think it's probably a mix of the supplements and the relief from the dental pain but now he's playing fetch like it's the summer of 2011! Great product, will definitely be buying again!

My Mum's 10 year old flat coated retriever had been getting stiff after walks. I ordered this product while I was dog sitting. Since using the supplements Harris has been more mobile both during and following walks. He chases after the younger dog and happily goes for longer walks (probably as he knows he can jump on the sofa without difficulty to snooze afterwards!) My Mum has recently made another order so she can continue to give Harris the supplements and as a vet has recommended the product to friends and clients.

As the owner of three labradoodles I have always been wary of my dogs hip joints. The dog doctors hip plus pills have put my mind at rest. High quality product, excellent communication with the seller including product follow up to ensure I was happy with the product. Quick delivery. Dogs have no problem taking the tablets. Compared to other products on the market I also think the pricing is very reasonable.
