I bought one of these shades 2019 ,I've had up since ,It has lasted all the storms and high winds we've been having over the years , cannot complain ,and they really brightens up the garden

One of the bigger names in the Sun Sail game, thought Great that they have a very good range of colours and sizes of sun sails, but the quality of their sail I was somewhat disappointed, the weight of the material is a little light compared to others, greater opacity and looked more like normal fabric than something weatherproof. The hemmed edges were just a single double stitch fold and nothing much more to take the extra tension towards the corners. The corners were just a folded over tape without and D fittings and really looked inadequate for anything more than the smallest of sails. Returned as thought the first sign of a decent gust of wind and the sail would be away.

The media could not be loaded. This is a good awning, being lightweight is easy to put up. The material feels like it will be effective for the purpose. The only downside is the edge seams are very narrow, so the fitting of extra grommets to allow lacing all around to prevent lifting in the wind is impossible. The seams need to be at least 25mm for real strength in the funneled wind that we have in our area.

BEWARE: SIZES GIVEN AREN'T WHAT YOU THINK THEY ARE. TRUELY AWFUL! DON'T BUY THIS! This is a terrible product, poorly made from low quality materials. I bought the 5 x 4 metre size to go on top of a pergola measuring 3.9 x 4.9 metres with decking / hot tub under the pergola. Initial impressions on unpacking where "good" but it was obvious the material was more light weight and not as tightly woven as on the sails I'd bought this to replace (see below). It also seemed strange that the rope provided is pre-cut into 4 lengths rather than a single piece for me to cut as suited my needs. This sail is NOT a "rectangle with tabs on each corner" as my previous ones were - its more like a rectangle with an "arc" between each corner which cuts inward on each side. On starting to fit the sail up over the pergola I laid it out fully on the deck and noticed imediately that it fell some way short of covering the area I expected it to. Measuring it proved that the "4 X 5 metre" size quoted by seller here refers to the distance between the extreme ends of the tabs where you'd fix the sail in place and **NOT** to the shortest measurement (length x width) between the actual sides (baring in mind these are not at right angles to each other but inward "arcs"). In fairness the seller gives no guidence on this point HOWEVER it seems a reasonable assumption by the buyer that a "4 x 5 metre" sail actually covers this kind of area. Finally, the sail is (as illustrated) made up of 4 seperate panels joined together - a single piece wouldn's have the same strength i understand. However NONE OF THE 4 panels are the same size as each other. From left to right and measured across the centre they are (1) 115cm (2) 68cm (3) 140cm (4) 108cm (NOTE: that is 331cm on a length I expected to be around 500cm +/- long). This gives it a scrappy appearence and looks cheap and nasty. My expectation of this product going the distance like the ones it replaces are, at very best, LOW but I've put up as best I can and will revisit this project in the spring - assuming this piece of rubbish lasts through the winter than is (I'm not optimistic!!).For past 5+ years I've done the same job using two smaller sails I bought from IKEA but these were now old tired and starting to tear a little. Naturally rain water ran through the gap in the middle between the two sails. These were a much better quality product and have lasted well considering the battering they take from the British weather.

Very good product with excellent delivery. Sadly, due to my own error it is slightly too big, but will measure again and order another from this company. Ensure you measure correctly as they advise on their site.

Great colour. Fabric not as good a previous sail. Not water resistant, sat out under it when it just started to rain a bit and it came straight through. Expensive for what it is. Last one was excellent but not this new one

This item sags too much under its own weight so that when it rains it collects like a large puddle. Without the proper clips and metal screw adjusters (not included but bought separately)this would be hopeless to put up.

Had one of these previously that lasted a few years in all weathers. This one failed within a fortnight despite no adverse conditions.

Toldo que cubre del sol. No es impermeable ta que cuando llovía, no demasiado habían "goteras", y cuando llovia un poco más se acumulaba el agua. Al poco de instalarlo con un poco de viento se rasgó, por lo que tuvimos que comorar unos parches,y al cabo de los meses con más viento se rompió del todo por lo qud quedó inservible. Es económico pero no duradero. Pero lo que duró se notaba que cubría de los rayos solares,hacíasu función.
