When a rear calliper seized on my Transporter I found out I needed one of these tools to wind the piston back in having tried a number of none-damaging workarounds that didn't work ! This tool does the job allowing even a stuck/seized piston to be moved back. I did have to use a bit of ugga dugga on it initially which it survived.

Bought this to assist me with changing the rear discs and pads on an Audi A4 Avant 2005. Worked like an absolute dream and made the job a breeze. I did the same job a couple of years ago on my last Audi A4 (2006) and I didn’t have the right tool then - the job took all day for all 4 corners and I ended up giving up on the final one and getting a garage to finish the job. This time with the correct tool, the rear brakes were done in about 3 hours, working at a gentle pace out on the road on Jack stands and the floor. I will be doing all my own brakes again from now on after paying through the nose last time after the ordeal I went through on my previous Audi. When you have the right tools for a job it does make it much more pleasant, and even enjoyable if you are strange like me!

When it comes to rear brake calipers, I was unaware that some have screw in pistons. When first attempting to replace my brake disks and pads, you can imagine how frustrated I was when I didn't have the right tools. Halfords was no help there either. Saw this, next day I could crack on.One thing I'll mention is that I ended up using a long handle ratchet to get some purchase on the thread, the small bar isn't quite enough to get it going. Oh also, make sure you remember to twist the handle to loosen the tention, I was terrified I'd ruined it before I loosened it off.

Utilizzato questo prodotto su focus del 2009 e devo dire che fa egregiamente il suo lavoro. Prodotto ben fatto e robusto ma bisogna saperlo usare e sopratutto non forzare.Unica piccola pecca il manico che dovrebbe essere almeno 5 cm più lungo, ma dato il prezzo và più che bene.. Vari attacchi per varie vetture quindi adattabile credo alla maggior parte dei veicoli.. 5 stelle meritate
