    Purchased to replace a standard alarm where you change the battery. Replaced with this alarm that lasts up to 10 years.The fact that the battery is not replaceable forces you to change the unit, something that we should all do regularly.It is a compact unit, ready to fit. It can be stuck onto the surface with the adhesive pads enclosed or mounted using two plugs and screws (included).The design is not fussy, with a single text button and led. Good, loud alarm. Clear instructions.Unable to say if the unit lasts 10 years. Previously purchased a carbon monoxide alarm from the same company, very happy with that product and hence the sticking to this company.Recommended seller & product.

    The smoke alarm was exactly as shown , was easy to install , worked perfectly when tested and looks good . It’s great it has a 10 year battery so no bleeping in the middle of the night any more .

    Required for elderly parents house, where old alarm had stopped working.Well packaged, easy to install, and a sealed unit with a 10 year battery life, which is great as I don't have to keep checking the batteries.Feels a well made bit of kit.
