Makes excellent thick soups. Use a veg pack (the ready prepared for soup variety) one stock cube and 850 ml of water. Simmer until soft, then let it cool, then whizz it until it's nice and thick. You can add cut up bacon while cooking or bits of chicken. If you don't want them whizzed then cook separately and put them in last with juices so you keep the flavour. Gorgeous with crusty bread. Also makes excellent breadcrumbs for coating meats or making fruit crumble.Considered purchase but great piece of kit. Well made and looks really classy!

I am a great Smeg fan, due to the design and great Italian function, this is for sure one of the best investments i have ever made, it is easy to use and clean. You can prepare 4 different dishes from starter to dessert without cleaning the attachments, using each time a different one. It is easy to store as you can dismantle all the components. Very powerful on the turbo function, i use it for everything, velvet soups, baking, souces, milkshakes, mashed potatoes...Just keep in mind do not submerge into water the lid of the chopper, otherwise water will come in and almost impossible to remove. Thank you Smeg for another incredible product, really recommend!

I bought this bundle to go with the SMEG food processor I already had and it is simply the best and most effective set of kitchen utensils I have ever purchased! Well worth paying a bit more for... you won't regret it. They also match my SMEG toaster and kettle like a dream.

We’ve made do with a hand blender we’ve had for years now but finally but the bullet and upgraded and rather than going mid range we went to the top range and I must say it’s very good indeed so far. Lots of settings for the power and nice and quiet and very powerful.

If I had seen the product in a shop I probably wouldn't have bought it as it is quite bulky and a bit large for preparing food for just the two of. This means that it also needs a larger storage area so perhaps take more notice of dimensions when thinking of ordering.Compared to my old, cheaper blender, there are some things I miss: the blender stick doesn't fit tightly to the chopper bowl and therefore has fallen off. My old blender had a collar around the stick part with a 'prop' so that you could lay it down on the counter top without the blade end coming into contact with the surface which was very useful when pausing use.I bought it for the potato masher which is very good and I like the plastic blades which make it easy to clean. Although the stick is heavier and larger, the controls are very easy to use and it does the job of chopping quite well. I haven't used the whisk - which is actually smaller than my old so can't comment on that.Overall, a bit disappointing for the price and compared to my previous blender and I wish I had thought more about the size for two people.
