5.0 out of 5 stars A travel companion
I recently purchased the Travel Pillow with Memory Foam for a long-haul flight from Northern Europe to Japan, and let me say it was nothing short of fantastic. In fact, it greatly exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort and convenience.Right out of the box, the high-quality memory foam gives this pillow a sense of luxury and indulgence. The plush cover is not only aesthetically pleasing but also incredibly soft to touch, giving you that additional layer of comfort. The pillow provided excellent support throughout the journey. The ergonomics are impressive - it fits just right around the neck, providing a much-needed cushioning effect. Unlike other travel pillows, it manages to strike the perfect balance between firmness and softness. The memory foam molds itself to your unique neck and shoulder contour, ensuring proper alignment and preventing any undue strain. One of the standout features for me is the pillow's breathability. Despite the long hours, there was no feeling of discomfort or overheating, which is typically a common problem with other travel pillows.Another bonus was how compact it was. Although it delivers the comfort of a full-size pillow, it is remarkably travel-friendly. It comes with a sleek carrying bag that could easily be attached to my luggage, saving me the hassle of carrying it around. After using this travel pillow on such a long journey, I was able to disembark from the flight feeling fresh and free from the usual neck aches and strains associated with long-haul travel. If anyone is in the market for a reliable and comfortable travel accessory, this luxury travel pillow would be my top recommendation. To sum it up, the Luxury Travel Pillow with Memory Foam offers a superior combination of comfort, ergonomic design, and compactness that truly sets it apart in the travel pillow category. It's a worthwhile investment for frequent travelers.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best investment I ever made
This is pricier than most neck pillows but omg, by far the most comfortable. I have terrible neck and back pain, so when I travel it always gets worse. I’ve used other pillows but I always have to reset it or constantly try to get comfortable. I’d highly recommend!!!But this sits perfectly around your neck for the duration of your journey. It’s bigger than most but I’d take that for a long plane journey any day.
4.0 out of 5 stars A bit overpriced
Nice and comfortable, very supportive. The fabric tape is not very sticky. And the pillow cover moves around a lot.
3.0 out of 5 stars Comfy but bulky for use with headphones.
I had this and the Bcozzy. I took the bcozzy on holiday and left this only as I wanted to wear over ear noise cancelling headphones on the plane with a neck cushion to kill the plain noise and support my head/neck.I found I couldn’t wear them with this as it was too high. So high it almost covers the ears. It is insanely comfy otherwise. I think it supports the head better and doesn’t move an inch. But it’s the plane noise that stops me dropping off so needed more room for the Sony XM4 over ear headphones. I don’t like in-ear buds. But if I had AirPods I don’t see why this wouldn’t work. The bcozzy was smaller and wraps around so can have narrow under the ears and fit headphones and thicker around the front to stop the head lolling
5.0 out of 5 stars Very Comfortable
I’ve always really struggled with sleeping ‘upright’ on planes and so have been researching for a travel pillow for a long time. Even though this is expensive I read the reviews and decided to give it a go (it does come with a ‘trial period’ after which you can return it if you don’t like it).The pillow is very soft and I really liked the way it ‘hugged’ my neck. The Velcro fastening works well and I felt very relaxed on my 12 Hr flight. I’ve found other pillows to make me really hot and my neck start to sweat which really is unpleasant but I didn’t get this experience with this pillow. It can easily be squashed back down to fit inside the carry bag it comes in. I have to note that it is bulky - took up a lot of space in my hand luggage so I did tie to the outside of my bag.So did I sleep? Yes!! I managed to use some noise cancelling earphones and with the pillow and headrest on the seat, I slept for around 7 hrs - this is the most I’ve EVER slept on a plane (including when I’ve been fortunate enough to ‘lay down’ in my seat!)However my partner also has one and he didn’t enjoy it at all so yep it worked for me - but definitely won’t work for everyone so best to try it out.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best thing for travelling
I bought two of these for our 11 hour flight to South Africa and, despite a flight delay which involved flying in daylight, we used them on the 11 hour return night flight. I can’t praise these ostrichpillows enough - we both slept through the night. Once wrapping the ostrich pillow around your neck your head has nowhere to go, literally it stays put, no lolling head jerking you awake, just snuggle down into them and have a good nights sleep. My husband said it’s the best thing I have ever bought! A little pricey but definitely worth the outlay. I have washed the covers since returning and they zip back on very easily. Sweet dreams …..
1.0 out of 5 stars Not for average/small adults.
Way too big and uncomfortable. I am an average sized woman
5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely, helped me sleep on 12 hr flight!
I really liked this pillow as it’s soft and snuggly. It fits tight and high around the neck/jawline. I managed to sleep ok for 5 hours on a 12 hour flight last month. Rolls up in bag and doesn’t weigh too much.
Fits like a cervical collar
Definitely worth the money for the laughs we had when we strapped this on my 93 year old mom. She looked as if she had on one of those cervical spine braces - her head was locked into position and her eyeballs, which took on a fisheye like bulge, barely broke the top of the pillow. By the time we all stopped laughing she was turning blue from the pillow that was now consuming much of her head. Thankfully my sister had ninja type reflexes and popped that baby open before any real damage was done. It was a pretty pillow but like my daddy always told me, looks can be deceiving. The pillow was returned.
Im keeping this.
The Ostrichpillow Go is more like a pillow neck brace (cervical collar) than a traditional travel pillow. When I first put it on I said to my wife, I’m sending this back. But she encouraged me to try it for longer. So I did. What I found was the Ostrichpillow is a neck support device that’s ultra cushioned and soft. It provides support to your whole neck. I positioned myself in several ways and found, after adjusting it, no matter what way my neck drooped or fell, this device held it just right so my neck muscles wouldn’t tire and I could feel comfortable enough to doze off.The thing is with these pillows, ya gotta feel comfortable enough so your neck muscles can let go from supporting your head and allow it to comfortably relax which ever way it falls. Including when you droop forward or down. The trick with the Ostrichpillow Go is to fasten the cushion under your chin, then you have the support needed to let go any which way your head decides to fall. At least this is how it has seemingly worked for me. When I purposely put my head to either the left or right (the Ostrichpillow has high cut cushions) it feels like you are laying your head down on a regular pillow in bed. When I nudged my head forward the weight was taken by the front cushioned area that attaches across the front of your neck providing substantial support without feeling like you need to re-adjust. Essentially you can sit upright in a chair and drift off without the need of added support from a wall or chair back and whatever direction your head falls, you’re comfortably supported. It probably looks funny. But that’s why I’m stating this is more like a large cushioned cervical collar. I suppose my experience is anecdotal and you can only try it for yourself to know if it would work for you. But aside from having a long sleep in this, it has been an interesting experience and I really like it. My mid afternoon naps have been grand. The only drawback I have experienced is because the sides of this pillow are cut high, they leave little room for my earbuds (AirPods Pro). I manage, but I have to be mindful to push the buds close to my ears and make sure they’re under the pillow. It’s doable, but needs a little fiddling.I don’t know if this is the most comfortable neck pillow for me. I can’t buy them all and try them. Well, with Bolo that may be possible, but after using this for several naps I’m really liking it now. I don’t want to part with it.Recommended
