5.0 out of 5 stars Stylish and fast.
Excellent pick for people using laptops with USB-A ports, given its tiny size; you're unlikely to break it by walking past it and nudging it with your hip. Fantastic price for the speed and capacity as well.
5.0 out of 5 stars It's fast, the keyring hole is extremely narrow
Performance: I don't quite get 60MB/s write speed, but I do see into the 50MB/s at times. YMMV.The keyring loop is very narrow. The tiniest keyring I have does fit, but then won't swivel freely. I used a strip of cloth to attach it to my usual keyring. Even getting that strip of cloth through the hole was a task. The small size is ideal for MacBooks or laptops, and is less liable to damage than larger drives.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works fine and quick enough.
Worked fine and has been reliable in the car.
4.0 out of 5 stars A fast and extremely compact USB drive - and how to check it is authentic (mine is)
I purchased my 256GB Samsung Fit Plus USB 3.1 flash drive (model MUF-256AB/APC) from Bolo itself (not a third-party seller), alongside the equivalent Sandisk Ultra Fit USB 3.1 flash drive of the same capacity (also sold by and dispatched from Bolo.co.uk). These very compact drives are excellent for plugging into a spare USB socket on my laptop and leaving in place as an extra level of storage and backup capacity.Separately making the same identical, large multiple-folder copy to each USB drive in identical conditions, mounted in the USB 3.1 sockets of my Windows 10 laptop from its internal SSD (which is only the 550 MB/sec older type, so not the fastest source available, but still quite nippy), I noticed that the Samsung was the faster of the two USB flash drives - not surprising as its maximum write speed is rated at 400 MB/s versus 130 MB/s for the Sandisk. The expected difference in speed was noted in a benchmark program test of each (the first screenshot shows the Samsung Fit Plus results as drive E and the second is the Sandisk Ultra Fit, as drive D), but the real-world copying task showed a much larger difference, as after the initial few minutes the Sandisk Ultra Fit slowed down and stopped for about 5 seconds roughly every 30 seconds (to cool down, I think) whilst the Samsung Fit Plus dipped only very slightly in speed occasionally and never stopped. The Samsung’s metal USB plug versus the plastic one of the Sandisk may be a factor here. The Samsung Fit Plus is very small and neat, and appears well-made. It is very slightly larger than the absolute smallest units of this type, but all are small enough to be very convenient and hardly noticeable when left in place permanently - these “fit drives” are vastly smaller than typical USB flash drives and their visible part when plugged in is smaller than the standard USB 3.1 plug portion.I see that some recent reviewers of this Samsung Fit Plus 256GB drive believe that their units are counterfeit. The packaging and appearance of mine (shown already opened by me) is identical to the photos provided in those reviews, as apparently is the Fit Plus drive itself. One reviewer drew this conclusion after running Samsung's Magician program, which failed to authenticate the Fit Plus drive, and they were also concerned by the absence of a serial number. My Fit Plus also has no serial number, but I believe that this is normal for these. I believe that the Samsung Magician program is intended for use with Samsung's Solid State Drives (SSDs) and so would be appropriate for use with their T5 and T7 external SSDs for example, which do have serial numbers, but it is not intended for use with a USB Flash drive. I downloaded from Samsung a different program, the Samsung Memory Card/UFD Authentication Utility, which is for drives like the Samsung Fit Plus and also Samsung memory cards. When I checked my Fit Plus, it confirmed it is an authentic Samsung product.I am very pleased with my purchase, and happy to have been able to confirm its authenticity, which is exactly what I would hope and expect of an item purchased from Bolo.co.uk. I give the product 4 stars rather than 5 only to reflect that even the fastest USB 3.1 flash drive is going to be slower than an internal SSD or the current high-speed external SSD drives that connect to USB C ports and use them to full advantage - but it is of course also cheaper, very convenient and a lot smaller than those!
5.0 out of 5 stars Solid, well build and fast.
Full metal body that feels like it is built to last making it quite heavy for a flash drive due to its sturdy construction. Brought a 64gb version for a family friend, was so impressed i grabbed a 128gb for myself.Write speeds hover just over the 50MB/s mark, with occasional dips into the mid 40s. Read speeds peak at around 300MB/s but usually stabalize at around 180MB/s.Stays nice and cool during prolonged reads or writes. Without doubt the best flash drive I have ever brought. Unless you need somthing low profile then look no further than this.A solid 10/10.
5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of data in a tiny, yet rugged, space.
I great little device, which works as exactly as it should. The exact size (of mine at least) is 256,631,898,112 bytes (or 239Gb) according to Windows 10, but you come to expect these differences from memory vendors who use human conventions for measuring space (1000s) instead of actual computer conventions (1024s).It's been a reliable piece of kit for almost 3 years, and provided I don't lose it (it's very small, and has withstood the ravages of the washing machine on numerous occasions) will continue to be something I use for more years to come.

5.0 out of 5 stars Greate compact USB.
I purchased the Samsung BAR to run Unraid primarily. The USB is compact and durable due to its metallic build. The price point of this product made it an easy purchase, even with the larger 64GB size.
This is data transfer speed!
The data transfer speed is one of the best if not the best for this kind of USB flash drive!

Very good !
I like, so much …!
Super fast
This is a really fast and sleak usb drive. It will fit in those tight to get to USB ports. Data transfer is super fast. Be sure to put it into a USB port that can support a fast data transfer rate but if you don't have any, this drive will work fine in slower ports.
