5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant fetch ball
I was sceptical at first but on arrival I was impressed with the quality of it and when out with the dog in the park it throws really well, you can get a really good distance with it and it has a great bounce on it too. I love the fact it's better than a tennis ball with the fact your dog can breathe easier through the holes on it.Great product good price and a must buy toy for your 4 legged friend.
5.0 out of 5 stars 5 Boof Review from Theia
My dog adores these balls. We've bought lots of different types over the years but these are without doubt her favourite. When there are a few differences variety about this is the one that's always top choice. After we've been out for a run and a game of fetch she loves to carry her ball home. With the normal tennis ball style she would struggle to pant and carry it and it would end up covered in drool. There's are brilliant and allow airflow whilst it's in her mouth. She found the texture really weird the first few times we took it our but now she seems to enjoy giving it the occasional squeeze and feeling it bounce back. The mini size is also perfect for my mini dog's mouth. Combine with the mini chucker for a great slobber-free game of fetch. However, this ball may not be the best for destructive dogs. My MIL has tried them with her little dog and she just shreds them if they're left out.Overall, our family loves these balls and we often find them in bed as Theia loves them so much she likes to sleep next to them! Would definitely recommend!
5.0 out of 5 stars These are brilliant
The media could not be loaded. So much better than tennis balls. My dog is a big chewer (doesn't look it, I know) and he likes to graze the fluff off tennis balls. He's also kinda small, so normal sized tennis balls fill his entire mouth and the little ones are just a smidge too small. The holes allow him to breathe, chase, and play safely. They bounce, float, they're very sturdy (haven't had any destroyed yet, and I've bought 3 so far). They're bright, so easy to spot, and dirt falls off them so no more soggy tennis balls going back in pockets! Would highly recommend.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great ball but not suitable for chewers!
My cocker spaniel is ball mad. He loved the traditional solid Chuckit balls however I came across a video shared by a veterinary practice of them saving the life of a dog who had a solid ball lodged in its throat. The video was pretty disturbing and although the dog made it, it was touch and go. So I decided to look for a ball that if it were to get stuck down my dogs throat he could still breathe. Having introduced him to these balls he now no longer is interested in any other ball - he loves them!. It allows him to breathe as he runs, they reduce the ingestion of sand and sea water at the beach. It's soft on his teeth when he catches it and it's light. Works well in a ball thrower and it floats. All great - however they don't last long and they are expensive. The last couple of balls I purchased lasted a couple of months and then started to break so not great for the environment and I wouldn't leave a chewer alone with this ball... Hope this helps!
5.0 out of 5 stars The clue is in the name - Breath Easy Chuckit! Ball
In response to all the reviews criticising this product for being too easily destroyed…As the name suggests, the purpose of this product is not to be an indestructible chew toy, it is designed to allow unrestricted breathing during play. For this reason, this ball is amazing. There are many other balls in the Catchit! range for incorrigible chewers, for example, the Ultra or Rugged models. The Breath Easy ball is particularly ideal for brachycephalic (flat-faced) breeds, such as pugs, Frenchies, Boston Terriers, Boxers and Bulldogs. Their short snouts can make them prone to breathing issues. Playing fetch with a solid ball, like a tennis or Ultra Catchit! ball can exacerbate breathing conditions. They can’t get enough air in through their noses, when they’re exerting themselves and their mouths are full, causing some to overheat, vomit, or even have seizures. My Boston Terriers are both ball-obsessed. While they don’t have particularly short snouts or suffer from any medical conditions, we have to take solid balls away from them after a while, as their breathing starts to sound like a couple of runaway steam trains! The Breath Easy Catchit! balls are lightweight because they are hollow with a soft, cut out, squidgy rubber exterior. They are good quality, have excellent bounce:weight ratio, can be used with ball launchers, are easy to throw, find and clean, and best of all they allow your dog to breath freely while carrying it.Ours love them so much we’ve recently invested in a few more, both small and medium sized, with small and medium Catchit! launchers to extend the range of distances we are able to achieve.Although the range isn’t cheap, it’s not too expensive either. I feel it still represents good value for money as all the products we’ve had are hard-wearing, long-lasting, and made with good quality materials. You get what you pay for.If your dog is an avid chewer, give them suitable chew toys to satisfy that need. Keep the Breath Easy ball for when you are actively engaging with your dog (we play a lot of fetch, or hide and seek with ours). Put it away when you’re finished and this ball will not only last, but will become a firm favourite.Over the years we’ve owned pretty much every kind of Chuckit! ball, and we’ve not had to discard a worn out one yet, but we have lost a fair few!I can highly recommend Chuckit! products in general and the Breath Easy ball in particular.
1.0 out of 5 stars Useless and flimsy
I wanted a ball to use in the automatic ball launcher other than a tennis ball which gets slobbery. This is not suitable for that - but that’s not a negative as it doesn’t advertise as being suitable. These balls lasted one outing. When the dogs brought them back they were broken. There was no excessive chewing, just thrown, collected and returned to me. Shame as the other chuck it balls do last.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best balls EVER
The media could not be loaded. My dog would destroy everything and anything I threw for him. These are an absolute game changer. He’s attempted to destroy them and realised he can’t so we can now enjoy a game of fetch again! I would recommend this product and have done to all my dog owning friends. They are brilliant and work brilliantly alongside the chuck it ball launcher contraption (saves your shoulder/back). Here is a clip of my dog carrying his home, intact and still fully functioning! Great investment. Thank you ‘Chuck it’ team!!
Súper juguete
Buen producto. Cumple su función. Lo volvería a comprar. Muy resistente. Mi perro de 33 kilos no la ha dañado.
My dog seems to enjoy chasing this ball
My dog DESTROYS tennis balls. Literally within a day sometimes less. She loves to play fetch and even getting the ball in the water. If this ball lasts over 2 months I will be very pleased. Only time will tell. So far, so good. It seems durable and that’s what I really need…EDIT: it’s been over a month and I’m still using the first of 2 balls. Highly recommend! Saved me a TON of money vs the tennis balls.
Muito boa, porém não é indestrutível
Se vc tiver 2 caes q disputam a bolinha, já era pq ela pode rasgar, mas se for somente um acredito q dure muito!
Great!
We have a small 7 lb.Yorkie and like the fact that it is not a solid ball and she can breathe through it while running back after using the thrower. It was also hard to find them in the pet stores that only sold the solid balls and these ones are at a a goodRice!
Durable
Great ball, my German shepherd loves it. It's strong and durable when he lays and gnaws on it, he can chew and it doesn't tear easily. Bright color, light and easy to throw long distance, bounces great, and great price for quality.
