5.0 out of 5 stars It’s comfortable, it works reliably and well priced

    w. · 14 October 2024

Connect well with Zwift, Wattbike and Strava. No issues. Not a washable strap but just needs a good rinse after every use. Time will tell on longevity of strap.

5.0 out of 5 stars worked perfectly

    I.M. · 2 October 2024

There were so many transmitters to choose from . I took a punt at this on and am not disappointed. The transmitter and strap fitted fine and the connection to my phone simply works. If your looking for a simple heart rate strap to work with your phone , this is ideal.

4.0 out of 5 stars Just good enough

    i.r. · 14 December 2022

As a fairly new runner of three years, I’ve been using a garmin wrist monitor to measure my heart rate. I’ve been told chest monitors are more accurate, and I wanted to try heart rate zone 2 training methods but didn’t want to spend a huge amount on a second device. At under £30, this model seemed worth a punt. The instructions are shockingly spare. A slip of paper informing you how to adjust the strap (pretty obvious just looking at the strap itself), how to insert the battery (obvious) and how to attach the sensor to the strap (again, pretty obvious). Nothing about connecting it to an app, or whether there’s a dedicated proprietary app we need to download. Fortunately youtube and Strava sorted this out for me. It’s actually easy to connect it to Strava: put the strap on, clip on the sensor, open strava and go to record an activity. There’s a heart icon which flashes when in range, next to the record button. Click it and it should connect. Jog on the spot to see the number go up on the strava screen.I took it out for a trial run measuring chest HR and wrist HR in tandem, using my usual watch. Apart from an odd spike in the graph at the start of the run for the chest monitor, the graph for the chest monitor followed the garmin wrist monitor closely. Not a significant difference. After adjustment, the chest strap wasn’t uncomfortable and the sensor is light enough not to be noticeable while running. It stayed in place throughout my run. All seems good. I wouldn’t want to pay much more for a chest monitor; the price is just about right for my present needs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Accurate, light, conncts easily - stated Elasticated strap size is BEFORE stretch, so fits bigger

    R.H.W. · 27 February 2024

Firstly, I was concerned the stated strap size of 25-36" (or 65-95cm in the manual) meant it would be too small because correctly positioned under the pecs I need 39".However, the strap is elastic and should stretch to fit and stay up, and it fitted me with plenty of adjustment left!Measuring mine UNSTRETCHED it is actually 25"-39". So it would fit a person of minimum 27-28" up to max 44" or more underneath the pecs/boobs (not where you normally measure chest). It is also accurate - checked with a manual pulse check on my wrist -to within1-2 BPM across the range (make sure to slightly wet the contact strips inside the strap), and its lightweight. It connects quickly, and paired via ANT+ with my Garmin Edge 530 and my Elite trainer app (on a PC with an ANT+ usb dongle) and via Bluetooth to Strava app on my phone without any problems at all.It also reconnects quickly after closing and reopening an app.The snap fasteners are secure and the strap stayed up well without being too tight, though some silicone gripper on the inside of the strap would be a nice extra, but wasnt needed even when I was sweaty it stayed in place. It comes with a Maxell battery already fitted, that says its good for 400 hrs in the manual leaflet (300hrs in listing) that comes with it in the (tiny) box.One thing to note, that is not very obvious in the manual, to switch it 'off' (standby) and save battery when not in use, you need to remove it from the strap - common with all chest HRM's - but could be clearer. I expect people suffering from short battery life are not doing/dont know this. The starp can be rinsed, but not put in a washing machine due to the sensors on it.Overall very pleased so far, and for £23 was a good price.

1.0 out of 5 stars Fits a Fatty and works with DDP

    A. · 11 September 2023

Got the DDPY app recently and Dallas is always banging on about heart rate, after reading reviews and comparing them against prices, i settled on this HRM, now being a big lad around 51" chest i contacted the seller who was honest and said it wouldnt fit. However i seen other reviews saying it did fit the bigger person.2months in update, works like a charm, I use it for any and all workouts with the DDP app set to custom, had to take it in a few times and never had a problem with a loss of connection or anything. Top product. So i took a punt knowing Bolos returns are great, and it fitted....not only did it fit i actually had to tighten it from its biggest setting as it wasnt tight enough to get my HR.Connecting it nearly cost some stars in the review until i realised it was me, when using with the DDP app do not pre connect it to your phone or pc, allow the app to do all the legwork, follow the website for the chrome extention on the PC, i have used it connected to the phone and the PC and it works fine.if you have any questions feel free to ping them my way, or contact the seller who was quick as a flash to answer my question.I fully recomend this HRM for the DDPY app, and good luck in your health kick or weight loss jounrey....BANG!6 month update,It stopped working, changed batteries, tried with several devices and it just won't connect, nothing I can do to make it work, most upsetting as all of the above states it was the perfect HRM to DDPY I recommend it to everyone I. Class and online and now it's just stopped working.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Chest HR monitor with good battery life

    D. · 22 September 2024

I bought this to replace a branded, more-expensive heart rate monitor after the one o use almost daily, gave up the ghost from extended use. This is a great replacement. Easy to adjust, doesn't rub, uses a simple cell battery that lasts me a good 3-5 months and i cycle for 5-8 hours a week - always using this.Easy to connect/pair with my garmin edge, this relays data consistently well. So well, that i cannot say anything negative about it. It doesn't rub, it does exactly what you want it too.A great cheaper alterative to more expensive branded chest HR monitors/straps.

Immediately connected to Apple Watch Ultra

    C.-.n. · 4 October 2024

Was worried it wouldn’t be compatible with newer Apple Watches. But it connected immediately with zero issues and I took off my watch to make sure it was actually tracking my HR and not the watch’s sensors. It works great. Will be testing it on runs to see how comfy the strap is, but feels just like my garmin one. But $100 cheaper 😂

    Fonctionne parfaitement

Ceinture cardio fonctionne parfaitement avec ma montre suunto spartan ultra. Elle s'est connecté très rapidement.Rien à redire.

Funktioniert und ist besser als Wahoo Tickr 2

    t. · 25 September 2024

    Ottima

    C.A. · 28 August 2024

    Works fine
