This camera was recommended to my by two friends who (between them) had already bought three of these cameras and were very happy with these. I must admit that I have joined their positive opinion of the Genbolt 4G LTE Solar Security Camera.The installation is a doddle. You literally take the camera out of the box, download the Genbolt app onto your mobile phone, switch the camera on, add it to your app and - it works.This camera does NOT work with WiFi. There is already a SIM card inside the camera. It is actually an eiotclub multi-network data only SIM card, meaning it is capable to connect to different networks and choses the best one considering the position of the camera. There is 300MB pre-paid data on the SIM card, enough to try it out. Then it is super easy to choose a plan. I have chosen 36GB over 12 months, which would be about £6.25 per month if I used 3GB per month. However, being able to chose a data package and not just paying month by month is a great advantage for what I am doing with the camera, which is wildlife observation. I need a bit more data in summer, and less in winter. Past experience with other cameras showed me that on average I do not need more than 2GB per month.One of my friends has decided not to use the provided SIM card. She exchanged it for a mobile phone SIM card from her preferred network provider. She told me that she had encountered no problems whatsoever doing this and the camera is working fine.The quality of this camera is awesome, especially the amazing PTZ facility. I am not aware of any other camera on the market which provides the user with such a versatile camera for this fantastic price (Bolo Prime Day £85) including a very nice solar panel! This camera is working very, very well, in any aspect. The movie clips and the photos look super! I am using HD quality instead of SD quality though, even if this will use up more data. In my case, with my wildlife observation, I will not access the data very often, but I want to see great pictures if something is happening.The only thing I wanted to mention: I am not aware that Genbolt has a cloud service, meaning the recordings are kept on a micro SD card (not included). This might be a problem for people who want to use this camera as a security camera, but it is not a problem for me using it for wildlife observation.I am very happy that I followed my friends' advice and bought this Genbolt 4G LTE Solar Security Camera. Totally recommended!!!

I installed this camera about two months ago in a remote field on a farm. I use it a few times each day. It came already setup with a SIM card which is easy to renew online . I am very happy with the camera and would recommend it to farmers. I do not use the camera to record continuously .

I purchased this camera for use on a remote farm abroad and encountered some challenges. The SIM card provided didn't work, so I had to buy a local one. As someone who isn't very tech-savvy, I found the setup process quite difficult. I downloaded the app, inserted the new SIM card, but struggled to get everything working despite numerous attempts.I reached out to Bolo technical support, but unfortunately, their assistance didn’t resolve the issue. Just when I was about to return the camera, I decided to uninstall and reinstall the app. This time, I managed to get the camera up and running.While the camera seems excellent for the UK market, setting it up abroad with a new SIM card was less straightforward. It would be helpful if Genbolt could provide clearer instructions for international use.Despite the initial setup difficulties, the camera performs well now. The features and picture quality are impressive, and I'm happy with its performance overall. I’m deducting one star due to the challenging setup process, but I’m pleased with the final outcome.

Bought this camera having already unsuccessfully tried another brand which I needed to monitor my ponies. I haven’t got a power supply and so this cameras ability to self charge via the solar panel is essential. So far I haven’t been disappointed as the camera has remained fully charged although I we haven’t had many overcast days. The camera was easy to set up using my own SIM card and I was able to mount the camera overlooking the field within an hour. The camera needs to be set to HD to get a decent picture which produces a more than adequate image. I like the zoom feature and the app is easy to use. I haven’t used the tracking or recording features so unable to comment. An excellent camera especially;;y for those needing to keep an eye on ponies,horses or livestock. See my photo. I’ve added the box which contains the ample cable which comes with the panel.

Hi,I bought this product last week. Since I started using this camera goes to sleep or stop work every 2 hours. I need to restart the camera to make it work. Not a ideal product.I wouldnt recommend this product, so far useless.ThanksVinny

This is a really terrific value but a kit. You just can't go wrong. I've had it operational on my boat now for over a month. It's flawless. Just stuck in my own EE SIM card which cost me five up a month. Linked to my existing account. I could not be happier with it. I'm using it inside just to keep track of bilges etc. Make sure there's no problems with the boat.

I originally ordered the non solar version then shortly after Genbolt contacted me and asked if I would like to exchange it for the newest solar option. Which I did at NO extra cost.Unfortunately owing to poor health I wasn’t able to fully install the new camera until now.The level of customer service to assist me was superb, Genbolt even added additional data to the SIM card as the original had expired.The camera and installation was very straightforward ONCE the SIM was active. Picture quality is excellent and the app is very simple to navigate.All in all a very nice package.
Great solution when you have no wifi or power
The media could not be loaded. I purchased the GB216H-4G for my trailer where I do not have access to Wi-Fi or power in the location I wanted to place it. It comes with a SIM card that is 3G/4G LTE and is already installed and setup. This is a great option for people without other options or the knowledge to set up these types of systems. It runs off data and can be easily re-filled right through the Genbolt app. I kept mine in standby, so it only recorded when something was detected. This used a minimal amount of data (approximately 10MB/day). Another excellent feature is the ability to swap out the existing SIM card with your own SIM card from a provider of your choice. Genbolt will send you detailed instructions how to set it up. The 8W Solar panel and built in 15600mAh high-capacity rechargeable batteries kept the camera operating even during cloudy days. The humanoid detection is extremely reliable and has very few false alarms when turned on and set up. You can further deter trespassers with floodlights and a customizable siren which is turned on through settings. Very versatile, alerts and notifications are sent numerous ways with the ability to connect multiple users. Images are very clear and crisp (2K 2304 x 1296p); night vision is amazing, depending on lighting during night conditions it will be displayed in color or night vision. It has excellent coverage with 355-degree pan, 90-degree tilt and 120-degree field of view. The camera is easy to install and does not require professional installation. The videos and images both day and night are exceptional. The free app has many customizable features and is easy to use and setup is quick and easy. Anyone that has an area with no power or internet connection and they want coverage, I highly recommend this camera.

La uso para una obra el construcción, como trabajamos con generador de luz y este tiene un horario de funcionamiento, la cámara se recarga y durante la noche sigue filmando yo le compre una micro SD para mejor el chip es AT&T, tiene bocina para escucha y desde el teléfono puedes hablar también.El único tema que están resolviendo es la facturación para México.

This 4G camera from Genbolt is amazing, I have set up this camera in a small yard with no WiFi network, if someone wanders around my house, the camera will actively alert me about it all, very sensitive sensor.Beautifully packaged, the parcel arrived the next day in a very secure box. The English installation manual is well written and the color pictures are clear and easy to understand. A SIM card was also given. No connection required - works like a mobile phone SIM card, with 300MB of cellular data complimentary upon activationAccording to the introduction, the combination of this camera's 8-watt small solar panel and 15600 mAh battery should make me not worry about the power of the camera, and it does not need power WiFi. Simple installation process, it only took me 5 minutes to have the camera up and running.The camera picture is very smooth, very comfortable experience. It may be due to the upload compression problem, the video is a bit blurry, but the actual effect is really good. I recommend this product, great value for money!
