I chose this because of the unusually high level of 5 star reviews and it brought a smile to my face when I opened the package. I can't see any way in which it could be improved upon. The design is perfect, it's manufactured to an extremely high standard and most importantly, it works. It can be used in either hand and slices through hard ice cream, straight from the freezer, without the need to apply any force or preheat the spoon.Just occasionally we come across something that fully meets our expectations and this is one of those occasions.

Nice thick and sturdy. This is easy to use but most of all the spoon is sharp edged and superb non stick cuts through the ice cream really Easily.

I've tried several ice cream scoops, and this is one of the best. There's a definite knack to it (getting the angle of attack right is crucial!) and - like all scoops - works best on ice cream that's been allowed to soften, but once you've got the hang of it, it's good. Simple, sturdy, easy to clean. Recommended.

This replaced a chrome plated ergonomically useless scoop i've struggled with for too long.Nice weight, deals with solid frozen ice cream straight from freezer with minimum effort.I wasn't expecting much after struggling with my old one, but this is a joy.
