Overview: I have enjoyed testing this brush and all the little extras that come with it. I think it definitely distributes your natural oils well across your hair rather than them all being at your roots (naturally), and adds shine to the hair whilst smoothing.What you receive: a boar bristle brush, a wooden comb, a towelling hair band and a canvas bag to keep them in, along with the gift box and instructions it arrives in.Instructions: You are meant to use the comb first to detangle any knots and then go in with the bristle brush from root to tips.Quality: The products are all made using good quality products and you can really feel that when using them. The brush has a heaviness to it that feels firm/strong and not flimsy. I like how the brush and comb are made from a wooden material rather than plastic as every little helps in reducing plastic waste! They also make the products feel more luxurious and long lasting.Using the products: I have enjoyed testing the brush and comb. The comb isn’t for me personally, I don’t usually use combs as my hair gets quite tangled especially at the nape of my neck so I need a strong brush to tease them out. However, I’ve really gotten on well with the brush. I’ve recently had a baby so through postpartum I got a lot of hair loss and breakage; I was wanting to find a brush that was gentle on my hair but improved the look, feel and health of it... which is what this brush does for me. It doesn’t pull or yank on my hair and never hurts, even if there’s a knot!Cons: for me, it’s about the brush being made using boar bristles however it’s explained that it’s harvested boar bristle and is cruelty free. The boar bristles also ensure a minimum hair loss whilst brushing which is exactly what it does, and what my hair needs... so isn’t a con!Overall, I would recommend this brush especially if you experience hair loss whether it’s from postpartum/hormones/natural shedding cycle etc.

This brush has made a real difference to the shine on my hair. I had a Mason & Pears brush which was lost and I couldn't quite bring myself to replace like for like and I am glad I didn't as this brush is perfectly adequate. It is well made and I have experienced no bristle loss. It doesn't go through my thick hair easily but that has just encouraged me to brush more thoroughly which of course stimulates the scalp which is want is required for healthy hair. The brush came very well presented in a box with a bag to keep it in and with a wooden wide tooth comb. You could not ask for much more - would make a great gift.

Firstly, the packaging of this item arrived slightly ripped, but overall, the product quality is good.Just take note that the bristles are extremely soft, and do not detangle your hair at all ( This type of brush is used only to distribute natural oils and sebum on your hair but the bristles barely comb through my hair)The product is well made, but quite pricey compared with other brushes that are also 100% boar bristles.Thanks for reading my review and I hope it helps :)

Perfect for soft, shiny hair. This is good for distributing oils evenly throughout the hair shaft that makes it look super shiny and less oily but it's not the greatest for detangling. It also enhances static - my hair puffs out with static electricity only when I use this brush.So the point is, use it for its designed purpose and don't expect it to produce results of a normal brush!This product is sturdy - I can see both comb and brush lasting a very long time.

I have quite long straight hair which is prone to tugs and split ends. I wanted to get a brush that would help keep my hair healthier and smoother, and while it was a little pricier than I’d normally want to spend on a brush, I figured brushes last years! It was definitely worth it, my hair look feels and looks amazing when I use it. It’s clearly kinder to my hair than the previous nylon bristle brushes I’d used, as there is a a much more consistent, smoother texture and feel to my hair, less split ends, and it’s neither too dry or too oily. I do tend to have to use the wooden comb first, but it also does a great job of tackling knots. I’d highly recommend this product - my hair is so much healthier and looks and feels loads better now! I’ve never really been someone who spends ages on her hair, but I actually love brushing my hair now because of how lovely it looks and feels after!!

I had heard that natural bristled hair brushes are better for the health of your hair so I bought this brush. (The brush I already had was made of plastic, was very old, falling apart and was impossible to clean) I have very fine hair but I have a lot of it so I thought this brush would be perfect and it came with a little wooden comb too that I thought was really cute. When the brush arrived, I was excited and it came in a lovely presentation box.The second I tried to brush my hair with the brush, the bristles refused to even part my hair at all like they were scared of it. And it didn’t matter how hard I pushed or tried to get it to work as intended because those bristles were having none of it. There is not even a minuscule amount of rigidity to them.I should’ve just stuck to my painful, plastic nightmare… but the comb works and it smells nice.UPDATE: After leaving my review of this item, I was contacted by a customer service representative of Belula Care and they offered me a free replacement of the brush that I bought, which is absolutely fantastic (The harder bristled brush in case you were wondering).Therefore I’ve changed my rating to reflect not only the quality of the customer service I received, but the quality of the replacement brush that I now use on a daily basis. It glides through my hair like a dream and even if I encounter a tangle that would’ve normally had my other brush ripping out half my hair to detangle it, this brush is much more gentle on my poor scalp and swiftly unknots the problem area. Safe to say I love my brush and I highly recommend it.Thank you so much Melinda, you are a star! ⭐️

This hits all the marks. It was packaged nicely and very sturdy. It had all the promised items. The brush itself is simply lovely. I had never had a boar bristle brush before and I am still getting used to how it feels. It's much more gently on my hair and it feels good on my scalp. It's not rough like the synthetic brushes which I think is the point. It does seem to make my hair shine and behave better from the distribution of the natural oils. Lovely purchase!

After reading ALL the reviews for ALL of Bolo's boar bristle brush line, I initially didn't feel descriptions were clear or helpful for readers to make decisions on which brush to buy with feeling or trying it. I was seeking a boar bristle brush for my 10 year old grandson whose shoulder length hair is gorgeous and of medium thickness. He's active, so it tangles easily. I wanted a brush that was easy on his scalp and also resulted in pleasant scalp stimulation and shiny hair.Because I wanted to feel it first, I bought a boar bristle brush in a pharmacy, but the bristles were too stiff and hurt my grandson's scalp the few times he used it--waste of money, poor product. I returned to Bolo.ca and decided to buy the Belula brush because the bristles looked the right length, density and quantity, the handle was long enough to hold while brushing and the oval shape was what's needed for the brush to evenly transfer hair oils through the entire scalp and length of the hair. Some brushes are too hard and painful, some are too soft to the reach to the base of the scalp and stimulate it.It's difficult to tell from photos how a brush will perform, so I enlarged the Belula photo to assure that the bristles were dense and long enough to engage all the hair and had no plastic tips like so many brushes do--those plastic tips create static electricity in the hair and damage the scalp, so consumers should avoid them.The Belula brush is perfect--just what I hoped for. It arrived in an attractive, security sealed hard box. The quality of the brush, the wooden handle, frame, bristles and comb is excellent. The feel of the bristles is soft enough to massage the scalp and transfer oils for shiny hair, but not so soft that the user must hold the hair while brushing to force bristles to penetrate thicker hair. The box is beautifully laid out, with the brush laying atop a wide, soft headband with velcro closure (this item wasn't advertised so it's a bonus). There is also a good quality, small size wooden comb for detangling wet hair and a nice, strong linen travel bag with a drawstring for brush and comb. There is also a letter from the supplier advising contact name/email/phone information for customer service and instructions to take if not pleased with the product. On the reverse side are detailed instructions on how to use and clean both brush and comb and how to avoid damaging your hair when using any brush or the Belula product.I had reason to contact the supplier to advise about a delivery detail, and the company could not have been more prompt, courteous, gracious and supportive. They appear to be proud of their brush sets and really seem to care that their customers are pleased with their purchases and happy to assist if there are any concerns.I am delighted with this purchase, especially since the retail store supply of boar bristle hair brushes is now almost non-existent, and what's available is below average quality. The Belula brush is exactly the quality and design I was seeking, the price was reasonable for such excellent quality, the delivery was quick and on time, and my grandson loves it. I highly recommend this brand for those who want a well designed brush that's comfortable to hold, penetrates the hair to pleasantly stimulate the scalp and results in healthy and very shiny hair.

Mi sono subito trovata benissimo con questa spazzola e il pettinino aiuta a districare, bisogna prendere porzioni piccole di capelli ma la spazzola li lascia morbidissimi lucenti perfetti, fa un leggero massaggio alla cute non tira nemmeno un capello e super delicata, quei capelli che rimangono nella spazzola perché già caduti e quindi che devono venire via si puliscono stra in fretta dalla spazzola. Io la consiglio a chi come me a i capelli finissimi e soffre per colpa del dolore provocato dalle spazzole in plastica e poi se avete figli fidatevi pettinarli non sarà più un problema
