Prior to acquiring the Colibri SV cutter, my go-to was a simple guillotine cutter, as seen in the attached video.Making the switch has been a game-changer; there's no turning back for me. The Colibri SV cutter truly delivers on its value. The video I have attached showcases its powerful and efficient spring tension cutting mechanism.Having two cut styles in one piece is a standout feature, especially when dealing with vitolas that don't favor a V-cut. The ergonomics are commendable, offering easy operation with a back plate to prevent overcutting with the V-Cut. The blades come razor sharp. It is fairly easy to clean, too. This will fit pretty much any cigar on the market.The weight and premium feel add to its appeal. I've left this review a while.....I thought for a year....its now nearly 2 years since i got it!I thought I'd leave ut a while to see how it performs.it's a very chunky, heavy piece of kit. Nice smooth action and feels very good in the handI have to say that after 2 years in, this beast keeps on cutting. Still sharp and very precise.I got it for the v cut which is nice and deep and works well on the thick ring gauge I normally smoke.I do smoke smaller cigars fairly regularly, hence going for the double cutter. the regular flat cut is still going strong...very sharp , so you don't get that rough edge/ having to spit out bits if tobacco as you're smoking.8ve nit babies this in any way....straight into pockets with lighters, keys, change etc.still holding up very well.110% recommend this!

    The cutter arrived withing specified time. Overall very good impression. It makes clean both S and V cut. The V cut is nice and deep - helps very much if you have batch of cigars with a hard draw. I haven't used it much - so unable to confirm if it keeps its sharpness as use progresses. Frame is stable an chunky. Top and bottom starts to peal in flakes. Major disappointment is the locking mechanism. It just doesn't lock anymore. It is very week and it is unable to hold the spring that release it when you are about to use it.
