I have been looking for a Viners set as that is what i have had on previous occasions however i am liking my new set so far. Lovely design have stayed nice and shiny. Very good value for money

Needed some new set of cutlery’s as the one that we have are used regularly as well as when the guess are in too. Wanted to keep one set separate from regular use.Package Content:8x Dinner Knife8x Dinner Spoon8x Dinner Fork8x TeaspoonWell packaged. Quite a heavy cutlery set. I looked at few different patterns before I went for the hammered pattern cutlery set – is what I call. The handles are quite good and the hammer pattern may work a bit non slippery for some people during use. The hammer pattern are quite different from the others you see in the market. Most of the time you find – zigzag, golden prints/lines, etc. but the hammered pattern is different, unique and quite heavy too. These can be hand washed and are dishwasher safe too. Used it over the weekend and no issues too. Knife is quite sharp so be careful when given to the kids, best not given to younger than 6/7 years I would say for safety reasons.I also tested if they are stainless steel using a magnet and indeed the magnet does attach to the cutlery which means you need to immediately wipe it off after its been washed else potentially it can rust if left wet for a long time. It will be certainly be used on occasions and when friends are around and not on a regular basis.I really hope you found my review helpful and would love for you to click on the “YES” button to say so. Its been a long time since I have had new cutlery and it took me some time to choose some new ones. The last set was thin whilst this I would say is about mid way in width.In terms of holding they are fine I would have no way of recommending them for this reason and the style is fine. The weight is not as heavy as I would have hoped the knife has far more weight than the fork or spoon and this gives a cheaper feel to them, certainly from the last set I had; all members of the family noted this point.The pattern is nice and everyone liked that aspect and it might be only me that consider them a little shiny or 'bling' like which I am not too keen on however, they are a decent set overall and just because I do not like a certain aspect doesn't mean they won't do the job.

Some people, I notice will complain about something even when they are happy with it! I bought two sets of these knives forks and spoons for Christmas and they arrived in a timely manner, well packaged. The tea spoons ARE tea spoon size so I really don't know what others have seen or received. The handles are a little longer by maybe 5mm than what I already have but that it a good thing for taller cups and mugs and the spoon part IS 100% TEA SPOON size - I measured one with some plastic measuring utensils we have. The eating knives have a serrated edge yes however, you would have to have a penchant for sawing away at your fingers all day to cut yourself so to comment that they are extra sharp is nonsense. They are sturdy, well weighted, comfortable to use and well worth the price so seriously, go ahead and treat yourself.
