5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant gaming mouse
Super fast delivery with Prime, decent size mouse for my large hands, 12 programmable side buttons, mouse sensitivity control buttons (4 stages : 1. slow movement - 4 super fast movement of cursor)Scroll wheel really responsive, great illumination on mouse body, great for online gaming- I love mine for playing Warcraft.
5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable to hold in hand, even with smaller hands
I suddenly found myself in need of a mouse with some programmable macro buttons as the amount of keyboard combination keybinds I found myself using was becoming a bit unbearable. I was looking for something that would be comfortable to use, allow for flexibility, yet not break the bank. Redragon's M908 ended up being the winner between the different offerings and I can't say I'm upset about the decision. The mouse feels extremely comfortable to wield (after having removed the configurable weights inside as I prefer a lighter mouse), even with smaller hands. the macro buttons are well positioned, with alternating tilting for ever 3 buttons, allowing you to quickly realize using tactile feedback which button you're on.The provided software is basic, looks a bit dubious, but gets the job done. It can behave somewhat clunky when trying to re-bind to a multi-key combination, but once you've got it setup that should hopefully be the last time you experience it. The mouse allows for several configurations that are flashed onto the mouse itself (such as for different profiles, classes, or games), with a simple mode switch button underneath. The modes can each have a different colour profile, so you shouldn't ever have to be confused about which profile you're currently on.So far the mouse is holding up great, and although initially I figured I wouldn't get any use out of it, the included multi-left-click button has come in useful a few times as well!
4.0 out of 5 stars It's 'a BIG boi' - but good value
I'm just going to go ahead and say it; this would be an easy 5 star review, for me, if only the mouse was a bit smaller. Now, I know you'll probably be thinking that such a problem is WAY too small to warrant knocking off a star, but it does change the ergonomics significantly. For context, I am a 5'0 female, with conventionally 'small' hands. I feel that this mouse is definitely catered more towards those with larger hands - it makes sense, given target audiences and all. Redragon have to operate on a 'line of best fit'; good for most, but unfortunately, I am in the category of the few. Therefore, the mouse leads to a somewhat unnatural finger splay, and is generally rather bulky.I am well aware that this likely wouldn't be a problem for most people. This review is based on my own personal experience. And it's a good one, all things considered! To keep this review somewhat short, I think I'll just go ahead and list my thoughts as a little pros and cons...PROS:- Customisation: Redragon really love to keep the customisations coming! We're talking DPI, lighting, programmable side buttons [with the possibility of mapping individual macros to each], even weight.- Braided cable: Love the braided cable, as opposed to the traditional rubber. Plus, the cable is super long so should work perfectly regardless of your required distance.- Value: This is definitely a budget option when it comes to gaming mice; but you would never know looking at it. The low price doesn't seem to mean low quality, though admittedly I have not had the mouse long enough to really put it through its paces and test its endurance.- Response: Instantaneous response means there's no delay between moving the mouse and the input signal registering on screen. Super important if you, like me, plan to play video games with it.CONS:- It's chunky: it's BIG, as mice go. And pretty heavy if you don't adjust the weights. For some people, that might be a perk, but for me the size means it's slightly uncomfortable. In all, it's a good little (or should I say chonky) mouse. No, it's not *perfect* for me, but you'll be hard pushed to find better value for money elsewhere. The lovely people at Redragon continue to have my heart, it seems!TL;DR: Great mouse, if some heft doesn't bother you.*If you liked this review, please let me know by hitting the 'Helpful' button!
Best purchase I've ever made!
Before you buy, know that you can assign the Auto-Fire key to a "Shift" key assigning secondary functions to side buttons, allowing you to have at least 25 functional keys in total which is amazing, especially in playing MMO Games. It's flexible programming-wise to function, good when using office programs where you assign shortcuts to side buttons, seriously, it's an amazing mouse. As for the downside, it's big and weighs a little which could turn off some people but I like it that way cause I wouldn't say I like small mouses. It takes some time to get used to which can take up to a month depending on usage but once you get the hang of it, all capabilities are unlocked that it become a core part of your life.
Don’t think, Go for it
Ordered to play world of warcraftSize: I don’t have big hands, but the mouse is perfectly sized so I don’t push other buttons by mistake.Rgb: we can set it through the software and it has différents pre made settings. (It doesn’t reset when you reboot wich I really like. It’s stays like you set it)Key binds: you can change any button keybindBuild quality: it feels quality and has good materials, the cable is sleevedSoftware: it’s good and easy to understand.Weight: i like the way it is then I didn’t make it lighterPackaging: it comes in a box that make it easy to move away withConfort: I didn’t get any pain, the mouse is confortable and slides good on the mousepad(make sure you remove the stickers from under the mouse tho 🙂)Weakness. didn’t really find any actually. Conclusion: at this price, the build quality and features make it a great value.I was used to more premium brand mouses but here I didn’t feel like losing anything tbh.I recommend this mouse it’s a great value for its price
