I'l start by saying that I really like this desktop easel. It is sturdy and well-made. I have used the two middle positioning slots and they work well. In these positions the board was comfortable to use, steady in its mounting, and it did not move around the table. (Admittedly I did not try to push it too hard.) The only down side is with the description: as other users have said, the outside slots are useless for me. The upper one is vertical, which I can't imagine ever using. The lowest one is horizontal, which is equally pointless as you would be better just using the table top or a drawing board.

I love it so much, it's perfect! It is exactly as seen in pictures, easy to use and very sturdy. Height adjustment is easy to do and great variations. It looks very nice too, and easy to fold up and out away when not using it. The only downside is it arrived with a chipped corner but otherwise perfect.

This was fine for the money, robust and fit for purpose. Anyone complaining about the lower joint simply hasn't realised that this is a form of locking for carrying and for working flat. It's supposed to be like that! Duh...It's a nice piece of wood, so I may polish it for when I'm not working on something, since it's visible. Recommended

Really well made and very sturdy when using all of the four angle slots. The ledge at the front holds a variety of canvas as it does not have a slip bar attached. The easel holds A3 size and would be sturdy enough for bigger.My only dislike is the easel could do with a catch to lock it when not in use as I’ve trapped my fingers a few time’s carrying it and it’s swung open. That’s probably user error rather than a fault of the product. Other than that I would certainly recommend it.

Just what I was looking for!
This table top easel is super compact and just what I was looking for to do tabletop paintings! I found it to be very stable and can easily accommodate a 20 inch tall canvas. The wingnut screws tighten down well to hold the position of the easel as well the height of the canvas you are using without slipping. I like the extra storage inside to keep several paints and brushes. Its perfect!
