Was a bit apprehensive at paying a fair bit for ‘a broom’ but went with reviews on trust and thank you everyone. It really is a brilliant broom, my expensive upright hoover does not do as good a job that I haven’t used the hoover since having this. Must say I only have tiled floors. But 7 cats and a 5 year old child! I work my arse off keeping everything clean and tidy. This broom does not just sweep pet hair from one place to another. It actually catches every hair and so you have a neat pile to dust pan up!I think it’s one of those products you won’t quite believe reviews on, as I was half expecting to have to send back, but it really is bloody brilliant. Only down side I agree with many other reviews is handle could be more sturdy. Fine for us only using on tiles but on carpet it could likely snap in two quite easily as more force is used. Taping the joints with some tape though will solve this issue easily if you have carpet to clean. Love this broom also as used for catching cob webs so easy in corners and around light fitting.

We bought this to use on our thick carpets which seem to accumulate human & dog/cat hair very quickly.The broom looks good, and works as described - it quickly picks up most of the hair that's stuck on the carpet.The only downside is that the broom comes I'm several pieces which screw together, and these tend to slowly unscrew while you use it. The broom becomes wobbly and needs tightening regularly during use. I'm planning to use duct tape to hold the pieces firmly together.EDIT: The pole bent after only a few uses, making it very hard to use without hurting my back. Would not recommend.

The handle is quite long so makes for a strange sweeping experience. This, in turn, leads to a weakness in the handle, and ours, due to damage to the centre screw lock, from pressure from regular sweeping, will not screw on leaving me with a shorter than average broom...
5.0 out of 5 stars Horrifying. Addictive. A rollercoaster.
Using this brush was a humbling experience. We have three cats and I hoover daily with our Shark. This thing pulled SO MUCH HAIR out of the carpet and off of our fabric sofa. It was dreadful. I loved it. I now use it every few days and, without fail, it picks up little grey tendrils of dust and fur. The handheld one is especially useful for the sofa and any corners. It feels robust despite being just screwed together. Using it is a little tiring as you have to put some pressure behind it, but I don’t think it would be an issue for the majority of people. I really recommend this one if you are a pet owner with carpets, rugs, or upholstered furniture! Just be prepared for the rollercoaster of emotions it inflicts.

I bought this broom based on all the feedback already given. It was essential for removing dog hair from the carpet and in that respect it is certainly very good. You can't avoid the physical effort required to use the broom on carpet especially if it has a deep pile and in that is where there is a major fault. The handle comes in 4 parts. Its really not designed to be used for brushing carpet as the pole bends easily at one or more of the joints. This is what happened making it useless, however, as the head was perfectly useable, I simply used a one piece pole from another broom that had the same screw thread size.I don't intend to return it as its working fine with the new pole. I understand why they have to use a pole of that design simply to cut down on packaging and shipment costs but I would be happy to pay more for a one piece broom handle.

I am so pleased I bought this particular broom. Working 2 jobs, I sometimes don't get to sweep into the hidden corners as often as I would like. This rubber headed broom had absolutely no trouble sweeping up hair, dust debris into neat little piles. So easy to assemble also. I haven't yet used it as a carpet rake or squeegee. But if it can excel in doing those jobs as well as it sweeps the kitchen floor, then bring it on !!

Please don’t waste your money on this item with the section handle. The handle doesn’t tighten up nicely as they are plastic screw fittings. Handle to the broom is flimsy and falls apart. The actual rubber brush head seems to work for lifting hair from the carpet. I could easily replace the handle or fix the joints with tape but why should I need to do this to a new product! If you have shedding dogs, you need this!
OK...I have a robotic vacuum cleaner and it does a good job, but in the morning, I want to quickly get rid of dog hair on my bedroom floor and running the vacuum isn't always easy. Thus, I got the rubber broom and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.I can quickly sweep my bedroom and hallway and bathroom floor in about 7 minutes and it picks up hair you like you can't believe. It is truly amazing and worth every penny.They also include a handheld brush and it is convenient for a quick clean up of clothing or reaching into areas where the broom is a little more difficult to reach.Anyway...if you have a dog that sheds, you need this broom!
Surprisingly good
I bought this on a whim because I have 3 long furred animals in the house and I needed a new broom. It's great for getting fur out of carpets or anywhere where it's really embedded. You just kinda scrub the floor and it picks up the fur and rolls it into clumps that are easy to pick up. I also used it as a broom and it's kinda so so with picking up fine sand and stuff but I love the bristles on this, can think of multiple uses for it. The hand held gadget is awesome for the furniture and drapes, just pulls the hair together into easy clumps.
