Was bit skeptical when buying this expensive dart board. But glad to say the scorebuddy app works brilliantly and it's pretty accurate and very enjoyable to use on my large ipad, great visual and sound effects. The plastic numbers are a bit of a disappointment, they fall off and also break if hit by dart, but replacement set is available at low price so not too worried. The technology is great, so go for it.

Awful product, magnetising darts every other go is a pain (which you’re told you don’t have to do - but you REALLY do otherwise it doesn’t work) and even then it doesn’t register that often. The instructions are almost non existent. Just rubbish from start to finish, we’ve given it a really good go but honestly don’t waste you’re money. The board/app is garbage because it doesn’t register if you hit the board but don’t score and if there’s two of you you have to switch player after your three darts because the app is too thick to realise when your go is over. It also loves to randomly add a score even when you’ve not thrown. An attempt at bringing darts into the 21st Century designed by numpties and it REALLY ruins a great game. Huge expensive waste of money - oh, and the board is not upto Winmau standard, very hard and cheap, the darts often bounce out

This is such good family fun. Easy to set up and install. You do need to download the app to play and there is a subscription for extra full package games but so worth it. Great for family fun, parties, those that love to compete. Games range from long to short. The darts are slightly flimsy and I did buy more expensive ones. We have actually installed this in our outside space around our bar area so it’s great for entertaining.

The media could not be loaded. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews on what is in my opinion a fantastic way to enjoy darts.As you can see from the video, I've set up my ipad on brackets to the side of the dartboard and connect them both via Bluetooth. I've found that the bluetooth connection is 99.9% perfect in that location, however if you place the ipad further away it can disconnect, also make sure you stick some good quality batteries in the dartboard, as when they run low, connection drops off (as you'd expect).Having been to Flight Club venues around London a few times, I researched the possibility of setting up something similar at home, and found this. You can spend £2000 on a Flight Club set up with the cameras if you want, but I thought for under £200 this has to be worth a go, and I'm glad I did. Yes, it's not as good as Flight Club, it doesn't video me and show it on a TV when I throw a match winning dart, but this is perfect for a home set up.I've played several all night darts sessions with people of varying skills, and the app adds a huge amount of fun to it. If you're playing against someone who isn't a regular darts player it adds even more fun for them as you're not worrying about maths in a game of 501, and the other fun games on the app such as Cricket or Halve It means that non-darts people can hit the board and still have a laugh.Yes the numbers are plastic, yes the outside of the board doesn't register as a miss, and yes the odd numbers are blue and not green... but none of that matters when you're playing with mates and having a beer.On a regular dartboard, practising on your own is dull, with the app on this smartboard you can play against the computer, and now with the app update you can play online, all of which is much more fun and better for practice.They could do with a few more games in the app, currently only six, maybe do what all the other apps do and charge a small fee for premium additional games, hopefully that will happen one day.If you're looking for a dartboard at home for fun with your mates, and to enhance your practice when playing darts alone, look no further than this.

I bought this 2 months ago and played on it every night.Brilliant idea but has a lot of glitches like darts not registering and the only way I know toput the score in is by stabbing the dart in the number that's not registered and sometimesrandom scores will register when you haven't thrown a dart it can get really frustrating.The app needs updating so it works on other devices and lets you put scores in when they don'tregister and it should let you have more players for other games.It should be able to connect to ac powerPluss side is when its working proper you don't have to work your scores out it takes each dartoff as you throw it and you can enjoy your game of darts and have fun with the other games.It does make the game of darts easier with scoring and with what number your dart is in.Not worth the £160 - £200.It just needs updating (improving) to make it worth that sort of money.
very honest review - read before buying
This would be a five star review because I think this board is amazing.... but, this is not a beginner dartboard. You have to throw with some force for the darts to register, also the software isn't available for a windows PC, which I assumed it would when I bought it. I wanted to load the app/software on my laptop and use that as screen that shows the scores. It will work that way on a macbook, Ipad, chromebook, or android tablet, I think? I have none of those. The online mode also does not work. I think that is a work in progress although there's a button on the app as an option. I was going to send it back but figured out a loophole for my situation. I have an Iphone and also have an appletv box. So I loaded app on my iphone and then project my phone to the appletv connected to my 60" tv and now everyone can see the score on the TV. Yes that's a lot. Although, now I can not watch TV or use my phone when we are playing darts. Other than that I really do love it and use it daily. The built in games are really fun. If you have your own darts that you keep sharp and are a decent weight 20g or heaver then you will love it and I totally recommend this board. Especially for the price. If you are buying this for family play and inexperienced dart players then you are going to hate it and say it's a waste of money because most of the darts that stick in the board will not register and you have to manually enter the scores. average or above Dart player- definitely buy itRecreational player - up to you

Wir hatten diese mit voll Garantie bestellt da wir meinten es steckt viel Technik drin, per Magnet zählt die Scheibe, Pfeile kann man an der Dartscheibe aufladen wenn diese mal die Magnetisierung nach läßt, nur kurz in dem dafür vorgesehenen Loch halten dann merkt man Magnet kontakt fertig.ACHTUNG: Neu gekaufte Metallspitzen haben eine leichte schwarze Farbe die sich beim werfen auf eine Scheibe leicht abreibt, bei dieser Scheibe muss man die NEUE Spitzen leicht an schleifen sonst Magnetisieren diese sich nicht.Wir haben die Scheibe jetzt schon eine weile und sie macht genau das was sie soll, keine Fehler beim Rechnen erkennt jeden Pfeil Wurf, kann ich nur empfehlen

Produit vraiment top mais...Le lettrage aurait dû être tinté dans la masse cela éviterait la casseLe bouton pour le joueur suivant est très mal placé, à un centimètre du double 15 on tir souvent dedans ce qui occasionne des trous dans le bouton et abîme du coup le ressort...L'application est vraiment sommaire, le joueur suivant s'affiche durant de trop longue seconde en plein milieu de l'écran, qui quand on joue au criquet empêche de voir le tableau...Le fait que l'on ne puisse pas l'utiliser en mode paysage est aussi penibleLe fait que seulement 4 joueurs peuvent joué est dommage.Mis à part tout ça le bluetooth fonctionne très bien, l'appareil est vite reconnuLa cible fait le job mais avec tout ces détails en moins elle serait superbe !!!
Accurate scoring / no online open play?
I was surprised at how accurate it is keeping score and being able to tell where the dart sticks and not a neighboring number. Downside is it doesn’t recognize bounce outs very well and absolutely never records a miss on the outer perimeter of the board (easily corrected on the app).I was hoping there would be more of a “community” forum or some Lobby on the app to play against fellow Smartboard owners around the world. It appears you have to go and open up a game then provide the specific game ID to your would be opponent in order to take advantage of the online play. Having only used in the Local setting on the app, I can not say if the online scoring is as accurate ut I do t see why it wouldn’t be.Overall you get a better than average real dart board (not plastic squares / soft tip) that will keep accurate scores and match details / average's for a decent price. The 2 sets of darts that come with it seem more suited to be in a child’s first dart set. They are coated in a type of rubber and are just strange looking.If the online playability was better (or just existing) this would be 5 starts all day.
