5.0 out of 5 stars Solid and comfortable
I purchased this mouse for gaming but also as a new day to day mouse. I love it for a number of reasons and now own 2 as I use it at work for working on CAD or 3D modelling. When paying a bit more and going with Logitech I was hoping to get a premium gaming mouse that combines exceptional design, advanced programmability, and top-tier performance, all of which I feel this satisfies. Plus after being burnt by wireless mouses that go dead when Im not looking, I am please to be useing a wired mouse again! For me the mouse feels sleek, ergonomic and is big enough to handle different hand sizes and grip styles, complemented by high-quality materials and rubberized grips for durability. A nice bonus is that it is programmable, which means I have set up shortcuts that you can use in games but actually I have more useful for navigating the web, as I have a button set to 'back' and one set to 'screenshot' meaning that basic tasks are made easy.On the whole it feels precise and responsive and customization extends to adjustable weights, enabling me to fine-tune the mouse's balance and weight to my preference using five 3.6g weights. I prefer my mouse to be a little heavier so have 4 of them left in. This is a nice feature to have and I can change it at any time if I desire and I wanted to use it for different games or tasks. The scroll wheel offers both smooth and ratcheted modes for versatile use and it feel satisfying and substantial when I am gaming. I am not that interested in the light options but have played around and feel that its a cool bonus to have them pulse or flash depending on the mood or game I am playing.Overall, the Logitech G502 Hero stands out as a top-tier gaming mouse, offering a blend of comfort, customization, and high performance that caters to both casual and competitive gamers. Not sure I will be buying 3 but I really think its a great purchase.
5.0 out of 5 stars Extremely worth the money and very easy to use
For gaming this mouse is a no brainer it is very responsive and the tracking is very accurate. The gaming aspect of this is very good such as it being incredibly comfortable for my hand aswell as having lots of customisable buttons that you can program with the logitech g hub software.further more it is very easy to set up just plug and play and is customisable aswell as the lighting in the logitech g hub app you can get from the logitech website. Last note the lighting accents are in my opinion really good as they are bright but also isn't too much therefore being great and not too distracting.
5.0 out of 5 stars Love this mouse!
Very comfortable mouse.Cable is a good length.the weights you can add are a really nice addition, I do like mines a bit heavier.Really great quality too, and the app you use to bind the buttons is very very good, and has a lot of built in controls for games you wouldn't think it would! No issues with connectivity at all. Has a good grip, great for gaming, and the weights really help me fine tune my accuracy in FPS games too.
4.0 out of 5 stars It's a great mouse
I had my eyes on this mouse for a while and I finally got it when it went on sale. It's definitely a great and comfortable mouse but I do have some issues with it.I normally only buy mice from Razer, and the obvious comparison is the Basilisk, which I do have. The Basilisk is much lighter and its sniper button (in my experience) doesn't trigger as easily as it does with the G502. The weight isn't necessarily a bad thing if you're after a mouse with a bit more heft, but the sniper button got a bit annoying to the point I just disabled it.Also, the cable. Razer has braided cables which I much prefer. The G502 has a slim, lightweight cable. It's not bad, but it just felt more flimsy. Finally, my biggest issue with the mouse is... the software. I thought Synapse was bad. This Logitech G HUB I found to be incredibly unintuitive and frustrating to use. It was incredibly annoying and the absolute worst experience for hardware-related software I've experienced.
5.0 out of 5 stars My second one. Great mouse, useful, comfy and well priced, "pointy bits" make cleaning it annoying
At this point it's this SPECIFIC mouse i look for when my old ones finally wear out.Comfortable, a nice DPI preset system & hold/precision-mode, you can de-click the wheel so it free-spins until stopped (limited use but handy for some "button mash" games that you can rebind keys in, RSi is no joke).the 2 thumb buttons are in good spots, the forward one i don't need much but i'd have liked it to be bigger/rounded (like a thumbnail instead of a \ shaped wedge leaning away from the thumb) or 2-3mm closer in, it's not much but it would help my "stubby thumbs".Overall, great button layout/ergonomicsI don't bother with the extra weights though they do exist, the bottom plate has never detached over 8? years of use and has stayed clean inside the entire time. The "pointy bits" in the design do make it a bit harder to keep clean as they love to gather dust/dirt over time, you need a thin scraper or tiny pipe cleaner (interdental brushes do great here) to GENTLY remove any accumulation. I'm on the fence if i prefer them for KNOWING what extra-button my fingers on or if i'd prefer a smoother design (that may or may not make those buttons easier to miss-identify). I'm not fussy enough on this one to mind beyond the cleaning aspect. What eventually gave up on my old one was the mouse-scroll became unresponsive. It still works but only half of the down-scrolls register anymore, it's a sealed-unit so i can't take it apart via screws (the ONE main downside) but given a sale-price and the general age of the long lasting rubberised left-right-side panels i decided to buy a new one instead of wrestle with the old one (it may just be an obscured sensor under the mouse wheel.underside pads are all still there (tho i use a few desk-runners i swap out/wash occasionally as a mousepad). i'll likely remove them soon-ish in the search for some screws i can dissect the old mouse with, if not it'll meet a hammer while i diagnose exactly why the scroll-wheel stopped responding.
optics housing is a cat/dog hair/fur trap
despite exhausting efforts to keep pet hair out of off of ect electronics I'm always surprised by the amount of hair that gets trapped inside the weight compartment. can create some rather interesting mouse effects in FPS games.love it so far will buy another when i inevitably smash this one.
Lo mejor
Sin duda el mejorause que eh comprado es muy perfecto
Breaks down then fixes itself
It's left mouse button broke then later fixed back to perfect twice and is still running at the moment.
Pretty decent for the money
I really dislike wireless mice because they always die on you when you least expect it. As such I bought this one during Bolo's summer sale (or Bolo Day or whatever) and it seems to work out great. It's a bit sci-fi looking but maybe that's a good thing as I had some rubber cyberpunk decals lying around for this specific mouse.
