5.0 out of 5 stars Robust, effective and stylish little machine
The largest batch I've minced is 10kg of steak, it took a while. For such a small unit it's very robust and effective. It makes some noise, but then it is grinding up meat. If you do a big batch it gets warm and smells hot but it didn't cut out and just kept going. It has to be cleaned thoroughly after use, which was fairly quick and straightforward.
5.0 out of 5 stars Hot Sausage
This is a fantastic bit of kit.We have a freezer full of sausages now. We've made Linconshire, Tandoori, Pear & Tarragon sausages so far. They all started out as a shoulder of pork.Great fun and you can be as adventurous as you want to be.So much better than buying from the supermarket.
4.0 out of 5 stars Mincer
Very neat machine and Great for making sausages.
5.0 out of 5 stars True value for money
Rarely do I leave a review now but I am over the moon with this. Easy to set up, just remember which way round the blade goes. I have used it first time as I wanted to make brisket and chuck burgers. Lets face it, 98% beef on a pack means any part of a cow... Anyway, 1 kg of full fat brisket and 1 kg of chuck turned into 2 kg of awesome mince in 2 and a half minutes flat, feeding cubes and swapping bowls. The motor heated up as expected but the meat stayed cold. Disassembly was simple as was cleaning with a standard washing up brush though a bottle brush too is a good idea. 16 quarter pounders in no time on a machine that cost 50 quid. Roll on the sausages!
1.0 out of 5 stars Not stainless steal. Breaks after 3 uses.
I like the fact that it could mince boneless chicken. But it has stopped mincing. And sounds very rough while the shaft keeps jumping while turning. I do not recommend this. I only used this 3 times since I bought it in 6 months ago. the "Metal" parts have discoloured badly. Just by washing them in hot water.
5.0 out of 5 stars Does the job but the grinder is quite noisy
Used for first time, it's noisy but not sure if all grinders are like that. The machine grinded meat fine, speed & powers seems fine, various blades included & option to make sausages so value for money but noisy.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great cheap mincer
I saw this mincer/grinder on a review site. It was 3rd out of ten! Most of the other grinders in the review were professional type grinders with a professional price tag! This one was much less. Arrived quickly and well made. Solid metal attachments and a powerful motor. We have used it 3-4 times and it is great. The reason we bought one, in France, mince meat is either non existent or very expensive. Especially minced pork. We wouldn’t be without one now. Only down side, is it can sometimes be tricky to remove the metal parts (to wash them) but with more use, this should become easier.
3.0 out of 5 stars Good product
Seems an ok product but just be aware of how it is delivered. It's not concealed at all - there's a picture and description of the grinder on the box. My partner took delivery of his gift from me 2 weeks before his birthday, somewhat spoiling the surprise :(
