This was a Christmas present for my son but only just got out as been waiting for his room to be done. The stands don't fit into the base at all and one of the wires has snapped while we were trying to assemble, so a complete waste of a present that I'm now unable to return!

I bought the newtons cradle for my wife who used to make them back in the 1970s. It’s very sturdy, good quality and good value for money. Very pleased with the purchase.

Bought this as a Santa gift for our daughter who loves all things science. It feels like a good quality product, nice weight, good materials etc. However, the balls stop swinging after a very short time. We think that on this particular one, the strings on one side were glued onto an incorrectly positioned pole. The poles should mirror each other and they do not. Because of this, the strings aren’t straight, causing them to hit only a few times before stopping. We have ensured that we have assembled the item correctly (fitting the bars into the base) and we had someone else check this out for us also. It’s very unfortunate because the Newton’s Cradle she uses at the local library swings for quite a long time.

The product looks good and came well packaged in my case. It was easy to assemble, but for a 'perpetual motion' device, I was rather disappointed as it only works a few times then they all just swing too and fro at the same time. Not how I remember these things working. I couldn't pinpoint exactly why it doesn't behave as it should, so I don't set it off ever anymore, it just sits there, not working....
