4.0 out of 5 stars TV STAND
Misplaced the original TV Stand, this has done the job very nicely, very easy to install, looks OK. Please note this product also provides the TV screws to attach the TV to the stand.
5.0 out of 5 stars It works
The original stand broke and after ordering this I must say it works. It’s functional and value for money. Very light weight. Make sure you light up the screws properly for proper balance and the tv does wobble a bit but has been secure enough and it’s kept away from the children so something to consider if your floors aren’t sturdy and if children like to touch.
3.0 out of 5 stars It does the job but it doesn't add quality to your home entertainment system
After having it for a year, I would say it is a good product for its price. The stand's package is basic and instructions are okay but are not exactly descriptive. My problem with it is it doesn't feel sturdy and it feels like the TV could topple over although this has never happened. The stand itself is also not a prefect fit with my TV.The cheaper price does mean it looks low quality. This does take away the awe of owning a high end entertainment system if you own an expensive TV.
5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant
Good quality and easy to fit. Very sturdy and well worth the money.
5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy stand, needs a bit of thought to get right
I needed a n alternative stand because the supplied feet on my new LG TV were too far apart for it to stand on my TV table. This fitted the bill perfectly. The LG set has a non-VESA set of screw holes for mounting (Why?) so a VESA mount wouldn't do.This stand is very solidly made, and says it supports TVs up to 40kG. More than enough for most TVs that aren't going to be wall mounted. There is no link between each foot and the other one, so they can be as far apart or close together as the mounting holes on the TV allow.Vertically, the brackets that the feet attach to have holes at 20mm intervals, maximum 400 mm between to and bottom holes. There is no way to adjust that spacing. The feet attach to the brackets via more pre-drilled holes, and can be set at several heights below the bottom of the brackets to allow more or less space below the TV for a set-top box, for example. The feet have soft pads that are slightly "grippy" so the TV doesn't slide about from where you put it.The feet are quite long (350mm) and are made so the TV is centred front-to-back when mounted, so they stick out quite a bit but are stable as a result. The stand is supplied with a host of different diameter and length mounting screws to suit different TVs (all metric thread). and a set of spacers that can be used to align the brackets if the back of you TV isn't flat or to allow access to cable entry ports. The kit includes a tiny spanner and Allen key for bolting the feet to the brackets, but you'll need your own screwdriver (cross-head or flat blade) for the bracket-to-TV screws. It isn't the prettiest stand I've ever seen, but its matt black finish means it doesn't show up much.I did a lot of laying out the parts to get the hang of how it went together and understand the (pictorial) instruction sheet, but if you've ever played with Meccano or Lego, you shouldn't have much difficulty.Overall, 5 stars.
