This cake stand is well made, with 3 tiers, the plates are glass and have a lovely embossed design on them. It was so lovely that I have bought a 2nd one. It is good quality at a good price.

The actual assembling of this is fine and it looks good once assembled however when you try to dismantle it after use its not possible to separate the tiers, the top tier is OK to remove and the bottom tier comes away but the fitting that ties the middle tier into the top tier will not undo and you cannot get enough purchase on the spindle to undo it, haven't tried using any kind of plier on it to undo as I think it would probably damage it beyond use - that's the only down side - if anyone has any tips on removal would be grateful

I ordered two of these for entertaining this Xmas. They arrived on time and in perfect condition. They have a very subtle glass design on the plates and the fixing post was easy to assemble. Looking forward to displaying my cakes on these.

Arrived late as courier claimed delivery made when in fact no delivery had been made until 2 days later. Cake stand wasn't difficult to assemble but the screw located beneath the bottom tier protrudes ever so slightly so there is a bit of wobble. Base best supported when carrying as am not sure how strong it is when laden. But the glass plates are a lovely pattern.

The holes in the plate were not all drilled centrally and the stem/handle are quite thin and flimsy so it wasn't very stable. I wouldn't trust lifting it with the handle. The fittings also did not screw together very easily. Shame because otherwise nice and did the job for high tea for brothers 60th

Rated 5 because it is lovely and great price,only thing I would not do is carry it by the handle when full off food,would carry out by holding from the bottom,but that is not a problem,cant wait to use for the Coronation.

Unterlegscheiben: Nur 1 von 3 im Paket, dadurch ist die Etagere unstabil.
Ich liebe Etageren und diese ist sehr hübsch. Leider fehlen 2 von 3 Unterlegscheiben aus Metall, dafür waren mehr aus Plastik dabei, als ich benötige (habe sie als Ersatz benutzt - ist leider nicht hilfreich). Ich brauche die Etagere morgen dringend zur Präsentation von Süßigkeiten, habe das Fehlen der metallenen Unterlegscheiben beim Aufbauen leider heute erst bemerkt. Ich hoffe, das wackelige Konstrukt hält morgen durch. Muss mir wohl in irgendeinem Baumarkt die fehlenden Teile besorgen.
Billig
Ist leider nicht nur billig, sondern sieht auch so aus - vor allem das angestrichene Plastikgestänge. Wollte es retournieren, brauchte aber für eine Rücküberweisung des Geldes nichtmal die Ware zurück zu schicken, was schon alles über den Wert aussagt. Für diese unbürokratische Lösung gibt's auch den einen Stern.
