5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic markers at a great price!
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } I’ve used promarkers in the past but can firmly say Ohuhu are my new favourite marker brand. The range of colours in this set are fantastic and suitable for many different projects and artistic styles. The only thing lacking are skin tones. The markers come with a fine tip which is great for smaller detailed areas, and the chisel tip which is perfect for covering larger areas. The markers blend really well, and the coverage is as good as, if not better, than any other marker I’ve tried. The set also includes an colourless blender to help with blending.Although most markers reflect the colour coded cap, some are way off so I’d recommend creating a colour swatch before you get started. Ohuhu have included colour swatch charts in the pack. However, if the type of paper you use is very different to the paper charts provided, I’d recommend creating your own to get a true reflection of the colour. The case the markers come in is very sturdy and likely to last a long time. It is divided into 4 compartments, each holding approx 30 markers.A slight frustration is that the pens come arranged in no particular order and appear a bit messy so I’d take some time to group similar colours together to make it easier to pick out colours when using them.Fantastic markers at a great price!
5.0 out of 5 stars Bought May 2019
I’ve only had 2 markers become unusable in this time. Granted, I don’t use them that often so they haven’t run out but the 2 that went weird sort of leaked ink and it got all chunky inside the lid, but because it’s been practically 6 years I can honestly recommend them. Only now am I looking to buy more alcohol markers because I need brush tips but ohuhu is a quality brand.
5.0 out of 5 stars 120 marker set
They blend well , brightly coloured, good value money for amount . Although the coloured tops don’t match the outcome of the colour and they do bleed through thin sheets of paper. The sample sheets come in handy to see what colour is what/ what it looks like.Best pens I have purchased very happy with them. Look so much smoother then others I have purchased when colouring.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great But Then A Little Let Down....
These are the best middle range Alcohol Markers out there...They have such a good colour pallette and they go onto the paper great... The only bad thing is 2 of the colours are going dry and I know they are my goto greys, so I have used them more than the others... Ohuhu also have a weird way of numbering there colours, they go a little all over they colour spectrum ie The purples start at 80 to 87 then start at 160 to 176...It would be great if they were all in one space... The last thing wrong with them is a lot of the colours do not match the colours on the caps... These are minor problems that are out weighed by the quality of the product... These are not the reason I have given the product 4 stars instead of 5 is... You are unable to buy Ohuhu Alcohol Markers singularly... As I have already said the 2 markers that are going dry are my goto greys and I would love to be able to buy them at a reasonable price not the £70 I would have to pay again to get them...Hope this will help anyone in wether to buy this product or not...
5.0 out of 5 stars Vaule for money
i was a bit skeptic about purchausing these markers, i intially wanted the copic sketches however those are really expensive and i am still a newbie using these markers so i didn't want to spend so much and i had seen people reviewing these markers as a cheaper alternative and due the price i thought these markers werent going to be good but i was way off, these markers are amazing and do similar job to the copics, i highly recommend these as starters, i have used several different markers and i find that nothing compares to these, i also like the fact they came in a case with dividers and also came with a swatch sheet on top of that they provided a plastic cover to put between your pages to avoid bleeding onto the next page. That is the one downside to using these markers however this problem occurs with all alochol markers and can't be avoided. the only way to avoid bleeding try using marker paper. i used the cass art marker paper and no bleeding but i also love using a sketchbook and how i use the markers with that is avoid using markers on both sides of a page as it will bleed and ruin the look to the other drawing. The other downside is which is my own fault is i didnt't realise ohuhu provide different tips, i prefer brush nibs and fine tip these are chisel and fine, i have no issue with using these but i would have prefered brush tips and its easier to use. Also at the time these nibs were not replaceable and nor refillable but i do now believe there newer collection of markers provide both of those things and not sure if you can do it to these markers. OVERALL RECOMMENDED PRODUCT FOR A CHEAPER ALTERNATIVE. also the range of tones and colours is just amazing.

(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Overall: Fantastic markers. Great variety in color spectrum. Color lays well on the paper, no matter what paper type I use. Blends well, great quality and quantity.Doesn't feel cheap, because it isn't. Big difference between "cheap/knockoff" markers from other brands, vs. these cost-effective/purposefully crafted drawing tools from Ohuhu. These are not Copic, but that's not a fair comparison. Ohuhu's markers are for the people by the people, made by artists for artists. Also, Ohuhu is constantly upping their game and utilizing customer feedback. Ohuhu alcohol-based markers are perfect for all kinds of illustration, design, and styles of art.Pros: - Includes color swatch, bleed-proof under paper pad, & carrying/storage bag. (*Always make sure to swatch again if using a different paper type, as colorfastness depends on how much ink is absorbed.) - Markers labeled w/ name & number. - Great tones, vibrant, mid, dark, light. - Blends well. - Great base for colored pencil. - Nibs are versatile. Sturdy but soft enough for fine details. - Good shape, easy to grasp. - High quality & quantity. - Responsive and helpful customer service. Remedy-focused, and very supportive.Cons: - One marker was busted, dripped red ink everywhere. (*Fortunately, Ohuhu customer service was able to comp me adequately for the busted marker!)
