TY coordinator bought 30 of these as a project for class. They really enjoy making these and displaying at the graduation at the end of the year. Cross curricular project, they make them in woodwork, design and paint them in art and learn a song to perform on ukelele in music class.

I loved that we could make them fun! But the screws provided didn’t hold once the strings were on. And every time I try to tune one they just crack and slip straight out of tune again.

This is a very good product. Delivery turned up before given date! There arnt any instructions with it! But!! It is very simple to build and most part very self explanitery! It too me a few hours from start to finish to build including staining the wood and drying time! You will need some form of super glue! I had a lot of fun making the ucalale. And I would recommend it for anyone who has an intrest making things!Over all I'm very happy with this product!Thank you.

Now I'm well aware that the quality was not going to be great with the price. But man this thing is utterly awful, there is a canyon sized gap between the neck heel and the body, and the joins are all way off. Now this is something that I can correct with a bit of fettling. But the fretboard is plastic (yuck) and hangs over the edge of the neck by around 2mm, so it's basically not usable. Avoid!
Seems a good little Uke
I bought this kit to gain the experience of assembly, to work a build, at least partially. I was disappointed when there were no instructions. I also bought it as a gift for my three-year-old granddaughter (I had already given her two older sisters ukes. When I started putting this together, I didn't need instructions. It was really a pretty simple build compared to the full build I was working on before. I needed to do the kit first and my granddaughter will love it.

Bei der Ukulele ist keine Anleitung, dazu weichen die Teile vom Bild ab, zum Beispiel ist das Griffbrett anders und es gibt auch nicht die Punkte die man zum orientieren nutzen soll. Die 4 Saiten sind nicht beschriftet, was es für Anfänger noch schwerer macht. Die Schrauben, die unten den Teil halten sollen, an dem die Saiten befestigt sind, sind beim Stimmen schon aus dem Holz gerissen. Sekundenkleber konnte das Problem vorerst lösen. Die Saiten sind übrigens ziemlich kurz, was das Anbringen erschwert UND nach 2 Tagen ist die erste Saite gerissen. Ach genau, man hat ja kleine Plastikringe, die man am oberen Ende der Ukulele mit in die Löcher geben soll, nur sind die so sehr zu klein, dass ich mit einer Schraubzwinge nur einen Schaden am Holz hinterlassen konnte. Egal wieviel Mühe man sich gibt, das miese Material kann man nicht ausgleichen.
Lijm is niet sterk genoeg en kan de druk van de snaren niet aan
Als je de snaren wil stemmen, valt de ukelele deels uit elkaar.
