About right for the price though. You get what you pay for. I bought this because I have big hands so wanted the larger grip but I use the smaller one instead because the other is not very sharp!! Some loose bits of plastic from the mould, overall the quality isn't great. My own fault though, you know what they say: Buy cheap, buy twice.

Despite appearing to be, from the packaging at least, a genuine Singer product, the quality of these stitch/seam cutters/pickers is very disappointing. The handles have been made from cheap and poorly moulded plastic; and on the larger cutter, the little red moulded plastic bobble guard was almost entirely broken off, with only fragments remaining. The smaller cutter works just fine but the larger one is not so sharp. I hate to say this, but I can't recommend this product. The irritating thing is you can't easily tell if the product is defective until you open the packaging - then it's too late to return.

The smaller seam ripper is great quality for the price, and makes unstitching a breeze. However, the large seam ripper appears to have been used & re-packaged. Handle is partially melted, blade is blunt, and the metal is tarnished & covered in fingerprints (not mine, I promise).Worth double checking what you've recieved, even if the packaging appears new/sealed.Not the end of the world for six quid, but justifies a mention nevertheless.

I live for singer products usually, however this was purchased in June and I've just discovered it's broken! The left (still intact) unpicker is one I've had for years and I treated myself to this set as a replacement . The two sizes have Been brilliant for traveling to and from work vs keeping at home and was so happy with it until now! Very disappointed.
